How close are you to your parents?
Hey Basil, l'm just wondering how close you all are to your parents?
lt might be something from TV shows/movies, but l don't do stuff like hang out, go fishing, or whatever with my parents individually or 'spend time together'. We will do stuff together as a family, but for the most part l don't feel that close to my parents as l should be.
l'm curious how you all are around your parents, share your stories!

I'm not close to my parents at all.

at the end of the day, we're all very close.
I'd do anything for any one of them.

Yet I'm willing to bet that you still live with her rent free despite being over 18 years of age...
OT we laugh we fight I threaten to put her in a home so we have a good relationship.
I'm not sure. They caught me getting alcohol for a prom after party (I'm 17) and then I come home at like 4:30 (license restricts driving from 11pm-5am) yet my punishment is that I can sell my current car (I've hated it from day 1) to get a car that I want. LMAO. Not sure how to describe this relationship
Maybe in a scale out of 100 it's probably a 40. I just don't like talking to them because they annoy it.

l'm very surprised at these results so far, in a sad way, l'm "glad" l'm not alone in this.
Realistically I've grown distant from my mother,and I don't actually know my father.
I talk to my dad for five minutes every few months.
I hate my mom.
sucks to say but not very close. i love them and everything but i can't get past the small talk barrier. though, recently ive been going out with them more often because ive felt ive neglected them the past few months; maybe things will change, hopefully.
