Do I have gingivitis?
My left gum at the very far end of my wisdom teeth seems to be inflated/swollen, and whenever I chew at that side it hurts. When I brush my teeth there, it doesn't bleed though.
Help?

Are you sure it's your gums or is it the insides of your cheek?
If it is gingivitis, brushing towards the gums (below (EDIT: or above) the brackets if you have braces) is good, if it bleeds a little bit it should stop if you take care of it well for a few days and it is mild gingivitis. Peroxyl or another hydrogen peroxide sorta thing is also really good, you can rinse with it twice a day till it's gone then use listerine or another rinse regularly. Stay fresh yo
God I hate people who use the internet as a medical source. When you have a disease it does not mean you will experience all signs and symptoms. You might get some you might get none. I have been on a couple calls where people where actually having a heart attack although had no signs or symptoms. -.- Sheesh some people think everything is text book it is so annoying. Anyways no answer you receive here will help you. No one here is a dental hygienist. So quit trying to get out of it by asking basil. However it is within good dental hygiene to floss once or twice a day. As well as brush at least twice a day. Should be doing that anyway not after something has happened. >.> Go see your dentist.
maybe your wisdom teeth need to be removed?

God I'm blind.
Well, should I just try to floss like heck?
gingivitis doesn't hurt (in the early stages), it just means your gums bleed when brushing/flossing etc
you probably have something stuck between your teeth and gums
Apparently it should.
