I love nice clothes and fashion.
And I am also a big brand-name suck up.
But I wear anything as long as it's stylish.
(Prices are the approx prices I bought them at.)

Here are some of my favorite clothes that I like to wear:

JACKET: Burberry pea coat with fur collar ($2500) https://cdn.lookastic.com/brown-fur-collar-coat/burberry-london-faux-fur-trimmed-collar-double-breasted-coat-medium-100469.jpg

SHIRT: literally any button up shirt from Club Monaco ($50-100 each) https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/b6/c5/1f/b6c51f640e4bb6a5da938bce8cdf664b.jpg

PANTS: Dark jeans from Club Monaco ($200)

SHOES: Tod's lace up ankle boots ($650) http://images.theluxer.com/Tods_medias/elaborati/fashion/235x235/011242000509_01_01_235Wx235H.jpg

BACKPACK: Saint Laurent Paris (YSL) leather Backpack ($1850) http://www.ysl.com/ca/shop-product/men/bags-backpack-delave-zip-backpack-in-black-washed-leather_cod45267375rv.html#dept=backpacks_bags_men_

Personally, I highly recommend Club Monaco and Zara esp if you are late teens and twenties. Club Monaco is more formal and preppy whereas Zara has really anything ranging from street-style clothes to full suits. Club Monaco can be a little pricy, but I think Zara is VERY affordable, esp if you buy during sales (Usually under $100).
(Also, please no hate comments about how I am wasting my money. These are just a select few of my clothes that I really value. Most of my clothes are much cheaper and still very stylish )

i used to love old worn out clothes, punk rock i guess? not to make a statement or anything i just found it comfortable. i used to wear shirts with random holes in them, torn jeans, old baggy hoodies, etc. i had to grow out of that so i cleaned up my look; i put a little more thought in what i buy but it's still with minimal effort bc i usually just stick to one outfit. normally i'll wear a cardigan, t-shirt, and skinny jeans; and occasional a flannel/button up.

i'd love to hear some justification behind zara's garbage quality being "affordable"

I really like brandy melville, h&m, and urban outfitter!
i've been really into tight skirts these days and cardigans
my go to shoes would have to be rainbows or birks (don't hate on the birks! >.< )
ugg boots and combat boots are cute but its not the season
for guys, i think guys in suits are really attractive <3
but express mens looks really good on guys! (dark v-necks! not the low ones tho) and boat shoes from sperry!
nike jinoskis look amazing on guys!
sometimes i only want a boyfriend so i can dress him

My mom and my aunt are total brand suck ups, especially in purses/ shoes. Their whole wardrobes is full of lv purses/bv purses. Is it because of their vanity? Not really, since they never even use them. It is a hobby just like when people collect coins and whatnot. My mom says that she "admires" them, which I kind of understand like I would love to collect autographed basketball player stuff if I ever get the chance to do so.

So glad to see I'm not the only one who can't afford expensive clothes.
My entire wardrobe would be less expensive than your jacket.

Nothing wrong there. My mom has been super fond of brand names too. I can't even count how many LV purses she has... To her, it's more like a hobby, just like how we collect rocks and post stamps and admire them. It's a personal choice and nobody should criticize you for it.

With that money, I could buy so many more clothes. o.o I love shopping, but I'm more of the thrifty type. The cheaper the better.

i dont spend more than $10 on jeans from Ross and i get shirts from macy's/forever 21 and occasionally ross (i work there so i get a 20% discount). I dont spend more than $8 on shirts and if its from macy's i wont spend more than $20. I buy dresses and skirts kind of randomly, but i dont spend more than like $15
tbh I try to be stylish/fashionable but I'm too cheap and I hate shopping so idc all that much

Usually a black/dark gray dress shirt, dark skinny jeans (sometimes a darker blue or black), revolve between two pairs of black Rockports (low-end dress shoes), and an assortment of different rings (I have a pretty large collection for whatever reason).

That and this messenger bag ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010C6YWLY?&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 ) which I'm almost never seen without.

Literally look the same anytime I leave my apartment.

Who says you have to spend a lot to look nice?

I get most of my clothes from Hollister, A&F, PacSun, BrandyMelville, and sometimes Forever 21 (but very rarely.) My favorite clothes are cardigans definitely. They're so comfortable and look so nice when you pair it with a white crop top and either high waisted jeans or black leggings. My favorite shoes are my Sperrys and I always wear them; even in the winter when I don't feel like wearing my UGGs. Moccasins are also so comfortable and casual. I got mine wet from the rain last year so I gotta get some new ones. : My favorites are usually just something really plain and simple. No need to go over the top when going to school.

PS: Hollister has the best jeans and shorts. <3 $25 bucks only

I almost always wear black cargo pants and white t-shirts. If it's cold, I'll throw on a black hoodie. If I don't feel like caring, I'll wear jeans or colored t-shirts.

I've always thought that sleeveless zip-up hoodies were cool, but I can't really get them to work for me.

I feel so peasant-like in this thread.

I just wear comfortable jeans or well fitting khakis for pants.
Button-downs with a sweater/cardigan, or some plaid flannel shirts.
I own two pairs of shoes, casual and formal.
Huzzah!

Uh, I don't feel the need to buy brand clothes so I don't think any of the clothes I own are brand clothes.

Jacket: Durable dark brown leather jacket, about E180 (E=Euro because basil apparently thinks the euro sign is a curse word)

Shirt: Plain black shirts, I don't like prints so all shirts I own are plain.(I wear hoodies over them anyways)

Hoodies: 2 of the same hoodie, one brown and 1 red, goes great with the jacket and my brown hair and eyes.
I bought 2 of the same hoodie since I tried one on, it fit and I was like, better buy 2 so I don't have to set foot in stores anytime soon. about E15/20.

Pants: I'm a tall guy so pant in my size are hard to come by, so when I finally find pants in my size I often end up buying 2 pair of the same jeans.
I only own jeans, 2 classic blue, 2 dark blue and 1 grey. I refuse to pay more than E40 a pair.

Shoes: I used to buy durable leather shoes for maybe about E100 a pair, but when I wear them at my work they end up in the trash within a few weeks.
So what I did is buy Dutch army boots for E95, they are extremely durable and look pretty nice if you shine them once in a while.
I also have a pair of pretty nice sneakers (about E100) but I rarely wear them, my army boots are the most comfortable footwear I've ever had.

Jewelry: Big fan of watches, currently wearing my day-to-day watch, Made in Russia, I've never met anyone with the same watch.
It's also a great conversation piece since people tend to ask what brand it is.
Other than that I often wear my Pebble classic smart watch.

Shirts, I wear mostly polos and button-downs. My favorite brand for those would be Ralph Lauren. I'd say 60% of my shirts were from him, but at $100 each, it's hard to get a lot more.

For pants, I just wear some standard Dockers khakis mostly. If it's summer time, I wear colored shorts (not cargos) from various companies like Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and I even have a pair of Chubbies.

Shoes, Sperry's are my go to any time that there isn't snow on the ground. I bought a pair of Timbs last winter that I wear because they look cool. I also have a few pairs of Jordans, nothing extremely special, just some colorful ones.

My backpack is a lime green Jansport. It's really cool and I appreciate its simplicity.

I don't really wear jewelry or hats too often, but I have two G-Shocks, one's like a mustard yellow and the other's white; a pair of Ray Bans, that I've only worn like four times; and I just bought my first snapback, a floral patterned one from Zumies.

I'm pretty fashionable imo.
that backpack doesnt seem like it should be that price
Yeah I would never personally buy it, but I received it as a gift and now cherish it very much haha
I guess it's just the "nice leather" and the brand name value that makes it so expensive.
