@Raginroxas: perhaps I should. But I'm too used to the idea of "hard work = higher lvls", rather than "hard merch = better gear = faster leveling".

Hey man thats awesome I got my Luminous to 170 a week or so ago on top of 160 on my magician months and months ago. Its pretty awesome to see someone proud of this kind of achievement. Im working on my Kaiser now which is at 13x atm. If you want to play some time you can add in game on my Kaiser oOSyrageOo

I have 4 characters i play as mostly my DB thou. Plus i didnt have anyone to train with so i would get bored sometimes and decide to not train.

Everytime I make a new character, I level it faster AND keep playing on it longer. My first lvl 160 (phantom) took only 3 months even though I procrastinate most of the time...

I hope you dont make a thread about how easy killing zakum is or "how much range do i need to solo zak at 160." I see those threads every week at least.

@lokthar111 seems like the players who have been playing since pre-bb have the most trouble getting to a higher lvl if they cant merch just a theory but still

I was so proud of myself, and thought i would only lvl to like 127 to add some sp into my skills. the main reason im proud of me getting to where i am now, is that ive never trained at any of the popular training spots, nor joined a guild in my dualblades entire career. (there is a exception, i was in a guild for a day, but was kicked for some reason the next day o.o never found out why) this to me is a accomplishment, i never planned on being a solo player in Ms but it ended up that way. Still i had fun with the few friends i had and even have a total of 17 characters all whom are lvl 100+. i just wanted to say thanks to all the friends i made in my journey to get where i am today, even if u play maple, or not, we had some good times. i guess my next goal would be either to make it to 170, or try to go on my first Zak run...wish me luck![/quote]

I didn't read the huge wall of text BUT I know how you feel (: This Shadower of mine was lvl 116 when I came back about 2 months ago and I worked my butt off for level 200. Hardly had 2x, not THAT funded, but yeah I get your sense of accomplishment (:

Not trying to hate, but 160 isn't that great of an achievement. It might be to some people, but it's nothing to get too excited about.
