Hillary Clinton's pneumonia/heat stroke/whatever

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37332106

Interesting twist that not even an M. Night Shyamalan can rival. But then again they reported it as 'dehydration' earlier without reference to the pneumonia part, so who knows what's going on. It could either be serious or not that serious. Will update if other information comes out.

Thoughts? What does this mean for this election season?

@fradddd: Matters to a lot of people. They want someone who is healthy enough to lead a country - and not take so many sick days off because she can't handle it.

@readers sooo...why would it matter how healthy she is during the election if she can still run.

Meh, as long as she's alive. Need someone to vote for and it sure is not going to be Trump.

@fradddd: Oh they certainly could. She just returned back to her campaign trail.

Question is whether or not it's too soon - especially given her age and given how serious pneumonia sometimes can be. She hasn't exactly had a great record of staying healthy (think 2012 when she had that concussion). It's also about whether or not she'll be healthy by the time Election Day comes around.

So...can they not run in bad health or something?

@zoglinemusic: not actually listening to what candidates say is dangerous.

It means nothing. I'd call myself a moderate, socially liberal but fiscally conservative, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that in this upcoming election apart from the one's that are dissatisfied with both candidates, each party has die hard supporters that will find any excuse to cover up their beloved candidate. Hillary is still going to end up as president. I don't believe Trump will end up as president. From a historical standpoint, it'd only seem fitting that this country would end up electing its first woman president after electing its first black president, not saying that's what I want, but I'm saying that's probably how it's going to end up, even if the polls have them fairly close toe to toe. Trump always finds a way to shoot himself in the foot then end up having to go back and retract his statements.

it's a disaster for democrats. they never would have admitted that she has pneumonia if that video didn't surface. i'd actually be surprised if she had pneumonia. don't get me wrong, saying she has pneumonia is really bad for them, but if she has parkinsons or something and they announce that then it's game over. i also highly doubt she'd be touching little kids for pictures if she had pneumonia, unless she wants them to die.
