Red or Black cubes?

So I'm desperately trying to get decent SI on my empress mage gloves, but after 50+ meister cubes, no luck. I've managed to get 9% int + 3% all stat for now, unique pot
With the amount of maple points I have spread among 13 accounts, I can either get:

1: 24 red cubes + 1 black cube

or

2: 13 black cubes

Which would be better to try to get decent SI? Or would some other combination be better?
If it matters, I can get top 50 dojo gloves without them equipped

Do you think that the near double price of a 12 pack of black cubes compared to red cubes is justified by the difference in chance to raise tier? Because I know that black cubes are better for cubing primary lines/endgame potential, but if I was simply going for legendary would black cubes still be superior?

Wait for miracle time. Both cubes suck at raising tier. I used 268 cubes on my claw, around 50 were black cubes, and still no tier up.

@riceypinoy: uh probs. i legit got rare>legendary in like 10 cube. ummm go for it now if you want just dont expect to get legendary and SI with the 24 or 13 cubes whichever route you chose.

I know that you cna only get decent SI in legendary status, but that's what I'm asking which would be better in the long run.

Also @whatisausername, you are saying I should just wait for a miracle time?

@PitchBlack0: I doubt that 12 or 13 whatever it was black cubes will make a difference. also leaving some left over to get the SI when he finally gets legendary.

As neo said above your gloves have to be legendary first lol. And @whatisausername black cubes have a higher chance to raise tier as well.

um isn't the only difference that black cubes give you the option to keep the previous potential. i say go with the red.
edit: oh gg it's only unique. umm don't even bother. Most likely 24 cubes won't get you anywhere in regards to potential tier upgrade without miracle time.

Decent SI can only be obtained in legendary potential. And Red Cubes are really bad at increasing pot tier, so I'd suggest you try the black cubes instead. They are also safer, so if you get nothing good, you aren't left with something totally useless.

Plus as a Mage, You should just be aiming for %Int, Nothing else should be a priority.
