Whats the point of this section if you just lock every post?

Now I'm going to ask one more time, just a simple question. Put down your shields and look into the light, you've been blinded by power.
"Why are my threads being taken down after a few days?" Now I know this might offend you but I need to know, they were never against the rules.

I need to put this on a macro key it comes up so often.
A thread may be locked or deleted, even if the original post doesn't break any rules, if the followup discussion goes far off topic with flame wars or users engaging in inappropriate behavior such as attacking other users. This is more likely to happen when the OP joins in the off topic flaming or discussions.
I have no idea out of context what may have happened to any specific threads, but this is the most common cause of thread removal other than suspension for the original post.
Yeah, I totally agree, no offense to the moderators though. There are just some really interesting topics in the site talk section that I really wanted to discuss, only to find that they were locked with just a simple moderator's comment.
1. people will be entertained if they have seen the matrix otherwise they will be clueless.
2. If they are locked, then they are deleted I believe. But usually they can be found by google searching the thread name if they are not locked.

depends on the thread. Most topics are solved by messaging mr. b or the mods.
