problem with launching
I've always had issues launching the game for over a year. I always had to go through the site. I downloaded the new launcher and it still takes me to the site. Do I need to reinstall game launcher?

Are you trying the new Nexon Launcher? Either way, both the Nexon or the Maple Launcher shouldn't take you to the website. The Maple launcher should take you straight to the game, while the Nexon launcher should take you a list of games, which then you should click library and click "Play" on Maplestory. If you've downloaded the new Nexon launcher, you should only have to log on once. I think you should uninstall the Nexon Launcher then reinstall it.
