Scammer alert

Hey Scanians, Just wanted to let you guys know that osmiiey is a scammer. He was formerly in the Calm guild in Prestige but got kicked because he is a scammer, hes now in [P]erion. He scammed my friend (Anonymous) in the Activity guild for 8.1b. They had a smooth transaction (oSmiiey going first) the first time she bought nx off of him, she went first the second time and ended up getting scammed. Some of oSmiiey's friends told me that he sold them nx and he didnt scam. I got some ss's of him admitting to scamming. but idk if its valid enough. Sadly (Anonymous) didn't take any screen shots of the second trade because she thought he was legit.

It would do people well to go a step further and record their transactions. Maple is full of scammers with more money than morality.

The worst scammers are those that are well established in the game. Those with friends or a community and scam inconsistently.

They'll have friends or a guild to back them up because they won't believe the person scams and because the incident wasn't recorded/not enough proof. They get away to scam again and again, with no tarnish to their "legit" title and because the incidents are so isolated, the victims usually quit or are forgotten about.

Plenty of those cases in CYMK. Always have a bunch of proof/screens when doing transactions over a certain threshold (whatever that may be for your budget).

Screenshots of ALL transactions should be recorded regardless of any feeling. Screenshots should not be taken simply due to "mistrust." Screenshots can be used for future references. Also can be easily disposed of and take minimal space on the computer.

Why are there always people trying to defend them, while they admit they did it..
