Can someone help me with Combat Arms?

Uh... hi... i just joined Combat Arms, but whenever I log in, the character creation screen is COMPLETELY black except for the text, where you put your name, and the character himself. There is no background, no buttons, and I can hear an occasional click whenever I click on a certain place, occasionally making my character change.
