Dat Phase Dash
Question for all you CBs out there--
When you jump and use Phase Dash in midair, does it simply make your character dash horizontally a certain distance and remain in midair or does it automatically attach your character to the nearest floor/platform (like the old charge-up Corkscrew Blow)?
Thanks XD

@m3zmur1ze: I know right!
I do miss assaulter because of the character movement and platform catching. Phase dash is nice- but the problem is exactly what you asked. The fact that when we jump and rush, we can't catch the ground makes the rush somewhat useful yet useless too. In the sense that we're a close range class- if we jump and rush an enemy too far away from our range, which does happen, it creates a lag time for shadower combos. Not saying the gameplay of a shadower is bad, but it can be improved. Better attack flow = more addictive gameplay.
I saw on a video of that Samurai class that JMS or whatever has, they have a move that's almost the same as Assaulter, except it hits multiple targets.. That's what we should have gotten.
BUSHIDOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
You CAN teleport to platforms with it, just it has a VERY small horizontal range for doing so.
And it rushes the monsters it hits, regardless of if you move.
@DarkWeirdo27: To me It was one of our best Mobility skills. If we ever fell or jumped
Assaulter always make sure we landed and killed also it was useful in PvP.

Finally someone said it! You have no idea how much it saved me form losing my map in typhoons pre big bang o-o
It's like the old CSB charge like you said. I always jump off ledges and then use phase dash to get on a platform and hit mobs. It's so ninja doing that.

Ah, okay. Well, that's disappointing...
Thanks for the help, guys XD
It doesn't teleport at all unless you're literally a millimeter under the platform.
Most of the times, when you jumpcast, you will not move.
Oh, so if there's no nearby floor/platform to "teleport" to, then you just continue with the jump without being affected?
nope
You just jump in midair like normal but the enemies still get rushed.
