On Windows 7, you got a tool called "Windows Update"
If you check all the updates, there's gonna be one for your graphics.
You actually get that from all version of windows actually. xD I wouldn't personally rely on it to find my drivers and rather do it manually myself. There have been occasions Windows Update or the Device Manager that didn't give me an update for my drivers despite it being a year outdated. And on occasions that it does find a driver for you, it most likely will give you a standard low-profile driver that doesn't give you full support of your components. This is more noticeably occur with your graphic card, as those drivers doesn't provide Direct3D Acceleration support which is needed if you want to play MS or other games.

Just so you know, there's a few errors that have the "-2147xxxxxx" number. If the last 6 digits is different, then chances are this is a different problem. The other "-2147xxxxxx" error I can think of has more to deal with something preventing Hackshield from loading which won't be fix by a driver update. If this is the case for you, then it would be best to type out the entire error exactly, so somebody on this forum can give you proper help.

First find out what version of Windows you have. Next find out what brand of computer it is. Next find out what model it is.

For Windows, RIGHT-click on "My Computer" and then select "Properties" on the popup menu. On the Properties window under "System" it will tell what version of Windows you have. At the bottom, it MAY give some info about what kind of computer it is. For that, it's best to look for a label on the back or bottom of the computer that will tell what brand and model it is.

Then go to the manufacturer's web site (like "dell.com" or "toshiba.com" or whatever brand it is) and look for their "Support" or "Downloads" link. On that page find a link for "Downloads" or "Drivers". On that page they usually ask you for info about the computer, like what model it is (like "Dell Dimension 123X" or whatever), AND what version of Windows is on it. Then they'll show you a page with all the drivers they have available for your computer. Download the one for "video drivers" and install it on your computer.
