I think nexon gave me a virus
As title says...... Idk if they really gave me a virus or not but my computer just froze after trying so many times to log into my character who was stuck in event map. At first, MS just turned black and my computer went very slow so i manually turned it off and i did that about 4 times. Then, it started going REALLY slow just to load and then it just froze right after i turned my PC on and it logged in. Luckily i have a beast friend whos the next bill gates and he gave me a new modified windows xp with vista(dont ask how -_-) Anyways, did this just happen to me or has anyone else been through this same problem? or a similar one...

Turning off your computer manually can really farkle up Windows. Doing it multiple times like that was just asking for it.
Unless your genius friend scanned for and found a virus, it's NOT a virus.
Besides, everyone is right.. Nexon may be stupid sometimes, but why would they give you a virus..?

Just a glitch or an error you can't get out of a event map right so that why but your PC messing up is your own doing turning it off some times mess's up the PC i had done it a lot of times having to redo the PC as if i got it from the store its all about luck when your PC gonna mess up XD
I didn't download anything prior to Maplestory and Combat arms. It doesn't matter though, my boy fixed my PC and upgraded it.
When ever i've installed maple ever since third job came out my computer gets attacked from Trojans. i would claim it to be other things then nexon but when i uninstall it my computer has hella less problems then when its installed. i assumed it was just me.

Btw if your using Explorer 8, There hasn't been a service pack release yet. So it might be that.
Malware infected your MapleStory.exe
Scan your comp.
It's cause of the map.
But it's not a virus, probably graphical errors and such.
