Anime

Does anyone ever dream in Visual Novel/Anime/Manga?

I occasionally have dreams completely in anime-style graphics, and they're always in Japanese, though not all my Japanese dreams are in anime-style graphics. Visual novel dreams are probably the strangest-- I'm occasionally reading my own thoughts written out in a visual novel dialogue box as the main character o.o

EDIT: I probably have a game-dev studio emulator in my mind. For instance, my maple character is often an interact-able NPC in my dreams; she's a child miko who loves archery and history.

Even when my dreams revolve around anime, I myself am never an anime character. I'm human me with the entire animated populace.

Sounds normal to me. I've never had any anime dreams ('cause I don't watch anime), but I've had Gothic Horror dream before and it was wonderfully horrible (being murdered by a werewolf/vampire/etc in the middle of a street never looked so good).

@shiraokajinja: every time i try to draw , my mind cannot focus on anime style. I always get a mixture of beavis and butthead and adventure time style in my mind

It doesn't have to be 2d. I draw 104 degree diagonal aspect scenery sometimes, and draw characters I design from multiple angles-- so no, anime doesn't have to be flat.
Take a look at Live2d for instance.

Even I seen the anime character in realism form. I have never dreamt in any cartoon. Mainly Gore. Bunch and bunch of Gore
I think it's because I extensively imagine scenes and characters in anime art style when I doodle (outside my art studies and even then, I often imagine what the studies could look like in different styles, esp anime). When I concept design visual-novel/manga characters, I imagine interacting with them in rendered fully as if I were in a game.

Except my lucid dreams complete entire dream cycles, and in full anime art style, so it practically felt like 'living in the anime world', the closest as I can describe it. However, I do not turn into an anime character in my dreams, it's all first person rendered in anime-style graphics. I can still recall the dialogue, people, and setting of some of these dreams almost vividly as authentic memories. So, I guess I do 'live in the anime world' occasionally, for maybe 0.1% of my life. My ability to have such vivid dreams when I sleep, is this a blessing or a curse?
