Westerners unable to depict Asian clothing
I was watching a short video about VPNs (researching different ones for CSE Networking class) and the video contained this cringe-worthy depiction of Asian clothing http://i.imgur.com/Py1vorG.png
For Asian clothing, we always wear the left side over the right side unless it's for the dead.
It's left over right, get it right please (^_^ã'¡)

Yo, am I in the wrong for wearing bathrobes right over left too? I mean, it just feels so much more comfortable than left over right for me.
@greatbolshy: @ashleyattacked: i'm sure that someone who says "aside from gems like her i'd choose a white girl over an asian girl any day" cares so much
@greatbolshy: @Natalie is sadly mistaken. American's having confusion about how various drawings are dressed is very important. We can be cynical about it and feel smart.
@natalie: how are you going to tell me there's something more important than westerners not knowing that asians wear their bath robe looking shirtdresses left over right
It's probably hypocritical for someone who legitimately cringes when she sees "your" used incorrectly in a sentence to tell you this, but this is a really small thing to worry about. This thread exists because someone drew a line the wrong way. Besides, the drawing is gross-looking anyway, look at how long that woman's fingers are. I can't imagine historically accurate clothing was really important to them, since the message they wanted to convey was "this person is Japanese."
@qtwarriorxx9001: I meant how they're portrayed in them.
it's okay cause there are better things to worry about
@terrorface: it kinda makes sense since most anime 1) take place in japan and 2) pander to japanese audiences
You ever seen black guys in anime? 'Nough said.
earth-friendly videos or pharaohs that consistently experience the dwelling of global transmissions is the main this Arthur Sinwald warns us about 40 years ago. really is comical that society is only just catching on
@eternalmemory: It's ok, no one was actually doing it. If you check the link it was a drawing, not a person.
You sound fun at parties.
That's a drawing, not an Asian person.
