Psa Arrow Blaster and the Space Bar
Hello!
After seeing countless threads of people asking about this, I decided to make a simple thread people can point others to in the future.
[header]Question: Arrow Blaster doesn't set when I press the Space Bar. What gives? (inb4: OMFG NEXON SUXX0r0z!121one)[/header]
This question has been asked constantly since the RED update to Bowmasters and, well, let's face it, anyone with half a brain should have figured out the answer to this problem right away.
I'll explain it very simply to you...
[b]Space Bar = NPC Chat button[/b]
If you've ever done any mining/herbalism, you'd have come across the exact same issue. By pressing the "Space Bar" (according to the NPCs), you extract minerals/herbs. However, the reason they specify the Space Bar is because that key initiates NPC Chat (where you talk to the nearest NPC) by default. So, [b]if you've changed the "NPC Chat" key to another button, THAT button is used to extract minerals/herbs and also places the Arrow Blaster down for Bowmasters.[/b]
[header]To recap...[/header]
Check your key settings. Whatever you've assigned as your "NPC Chat" button is the key you press to place Arrow Blaster down. If you have not assigned a key for "NPC Chat", assign it in order to place Arrow Blaster. [b]If your Space Bar is NOT the NPC Chat button, pressing the Space Bar will NOT place the Arrow Blaster![/b]

I thought it was straight common knowledge. I read the skill description yesterday to see its power, found out I could plant it. Pressed space bar, nothing happened. Then I was like, "Oh right, npc chat." Boom done.
I don't understand the confusion.

Edit: Okay, now this canon dude, totally dandy.
TS overestimates our cognitive abilities. Clearly we have less than half a brain or not even a quarter. We can't even search.. so we make a new post every time we need to know something.
I wonder though.. how hard is it to change the text to "NPC Chat" instead of "Space". I understand how in Maple Island it tells you to "alt" for jump because you aren't really taught how to change your keys but once you're out of your tutorial.. to me it isn't really sensible to assume "space" remains NPC chat for everyone.

Blaster is active and will take priority. If you try to do it way too fast you may mine
