Something incredible I found while training

It wasn't an item, nor a large sum of mesos. It was something more valuable then that. A ton of exp and a better way to train.

While training my alt a guildy asked for help with some of their SH prequest. I partied with them and we started off with the Mutant Snails map. We partied a random Demon and we each took a platform. I was had the two platforms on the left because I could easily clear the top platform and then clear the bottom.

We constantly cleared the map and had pretty good spawn. They finished their quests in less then 5 minutes! As we moved through the maps we continued to get great exp and spawn. The only hiccup was Mutant orange mushrooms. Their respawn time takes too long for it to be a worth while map.

SDH-FDH are still some top-tier maps but if you have a good party that knows where to be on the map why not get back to exploring Maple? Why stick to a small sand box when there is a big ass playground!

@endurance: It wasn't full party. Just enough people to clear the platforms and keep a constant spawn going. The numbers add up, man.

Earlier in my maple career, when I found it too tedious to level I would do something un-optimal like doing quests or training in a different place to switch up the pace. But these days its generally easy enough to get to my goal level that I can just grind it out in one map.

you must be under level 100 because full party is crap exp nowadays.. its better to just duo or solo
why train at a map that gives 1/10th the exp of a good map? Already takes me 100 hours to level, why would I ever make that 1000?
Cause you can't always train in those maps... mainly because everyone ELSE is training in those maps.

@wall: That makes total sense. You're striding for 250 after all.

@Dliu456: You do that just by walking though. That can be applied to several games, actually. It's just more fun that way. I get to see new maps, monsters, people. I can hear new bgms. Finish new quest. If the down side is a few more hours spent training at least I won't be in the same sand box.

I mean you're still going to be holding one button down; just much longer though.
