Elite bosses spawning

So a few questions about these Elite Bosses
1. What kinds of rewards do they drop? The website doesn't specify.
2. Do they spawn in maps with more than 1 mob?
3. If you've had any experience, how many Elite Monsters did you have to kill before the bosses spawned?
Helpful information is appreciated

Sorry if these points are repeated as I didn't feel like reading. I believe that each map has a monster kill count that stays with the map no matter who enters and exits. I think that's why some of us have entered a map and after a few kills, an elite spawns. I'm still trying to test this theory, but I think the monster that spawns, depends on what monster you are attacking at the time(or maybe the last monster attacked, not necessarily killed?). Twice now, I have had an elite boss spawn. 1st time was an elite Dyle when I was attacking a regular Dyle. 2nd time was an elite Zombie Mushmom, while I was attacking a Zombie Mushmom. I'm gonna test this out a little more while I work on leveling my Cannoneer and Hayato for the link skills. As far as the number of types of monsters in the map go, the elite mob that spawns is usually the mob I was attacking at the time.

It just really relies on the randomness of it all and being lucky if you are attacking a boss monster when its time for an elite to spawn. This also makes me thing that it also has something to do with the timing and not just the mob kill count, as when I was killing the boss monsters and the elite boss monster spawned, I had not yet finished killing the regular boss monster.

Edit: just thought of this as I was going over my post. Maybe the timing of the spawns relates to the number of times any of the monsters in the map have been hit. Refer to my last paragraph.

I don't know about the bosses but I got a cube, a 50% golden hammer, and cubic blades from elite monsters.
Me and a friend got one to spawn in Sahel (sandrats+scorpions) so number of different mobs should not matter.
I was in twilight perion for ages last night but after an hour~ and maybe 20 elite mobs the boss spawned. He dropped some bubbles containing mesos, exp etc. It sortoff sucks how a level 198 mobs elite boss drops 14750 exp as a bonus if you kill it.
aim for the equips and the boxes i got lots of slates and epic scrolls! also got a cube from an elite which is nice

@Althazir: Yea im 210 but it took forever to summon the elite boss just for basically no drops and i kill them very efficiently as well. >.<

@snowdragon470 Better be safe and say -5 or +5 level.
Edit: Make that -10 +10

@snowdragon470: I do not know the exact level range. The only place I've ever been farming for elite mobs/bosses is at mixed golems. You will probably have to experiment for that one. I can tell you that I was not having any luck getting elite mobs at mutant pigs, which are level 168 (I'm level 211).
Seeing as how the other questions have been answered, I'll just focus on the 3rd question:

It takes about 15 elite monsters to get the elite boss. You can tell your progress by the saying that comes up after the elite monster is defeated. If it says "The darkness is still in the area, it is quite grim" (or something like that), it means you still have a ways to go. If it says "You feel something in the dark energy..." it means you're about 3-4 kills away from an elite boss.
About this, also extra question for you do you know EXACTLY what lvl range between you and the mobs has to be to spawn it? its so depressing spending 1~2hrs killing 5k+ mixed gollems just for a really crappy boss mob reward although the spawn is good there and i can 1h ko them they hit hard -.-.

@wammie32 Ohh so that's why it changes color. But not only that, I get 2 times more exp when I defeated a red-colored sword Elite Monster because it has more HP than the yellow-colored ones.

1. What kinds of rewards do they drop? The website doesn't specify.
All kinds of things- equips, exp, meso, scrolls, etc. I'm pretty sure it also has to do with the level of the monster, eg. golem epic boss won't give as good as say, mutant snail epic boss.
2. Do they spawn in maps with more than 1 mob?
Yes, they do. I tried in the map with skeledogs and mummydogs, and it spawned elites.
3. If you've had any experience, how many Elite Monsters did you have to kill before the bosses spawned?
Not particularly sure, at least 5? I think. There's a sword that hangs above the elite monsters, and it changes colour from yellow to red as you get closer to the boss. You also get a different message as you get closer. It changes from something about a dark feeling still lingering, and making the place grim, to 'you sense something within the darkness' or something similar. I didn't pay much attention to the actual wording, but you get the point.

@Snowman: I honestly don't know about that. I think they don't affect the spawn, unless they're out of your level range.
1.) They drop various items such as Epic - Legendary (?) potentialed items, tradable protection scrolls, and other high end goodies.
2.) Of course they do. How else are you going to cause elite mobs and bosses to spawn?
3.) N/A, but I don't think it's based on elite mob kills after a talk with a guildmate.
Sorry, I meant 2 different mobs as in Dark stump and Dark axe stump on 1 map.
