F/p Mage tips

I'm starting a F/P mage soon, does anyone have any tips?

I already know where to train and how to allocate my SP, so you don't need to waste your time on that kind of stuff.

at the 4th job section: using meteor shower for the dot doesnt seem too effective, paralyze dot should replace it. so the dots you should stack on monsters are paralyze, big bang, fire demon, poison mist, poison breath.

in other words dont use meteor shower for the dot

true , 30-5x is a breeze.
having good damage+ finding a good place to train is hard after that ...
Summary - Make the best out of DoT.

Additional to Basic Mage (All) tips
-Acquire Evan's Character Card.
"+70% chance to restore MP on hit"
-With all the buffs you use, you might want to get Mechanic's Character Card as well. Bishop's Character Card isn't so bad also.
-Using 'Slow' is a good way to boss or make strategies from fast-moving enemies.

Possibly useful Inner Ability
-Additional Damage on Targets with Abnormal Status on Monsters
-Cooldown Skip at Set Percentage
-Critical Rate Increase
-Magic Attack Increase
-Max MP Percentage Increase
-Passive Skill Level +1

3rd Job
-If in small map, use Explosion all the way, while maintaining Poison mist at some places.
-If in large map, spam Poison Mist and have Teleport Mastery on. Once the mob's hp lowers to a mere 1 hp, use Teleport Mastery to wipe them out. Perfect for not getting ksed, as ksers would 'help kill the mobs for you' and them gaining a minuscule amount of exp.
-There is a HUGE skill delay while using Poison Mist. Use Teleport to go sideways (Left/Right) as it will increase your mobility.
-Plan your Poison Mists by making the most efficient and less mists as possible. As mentioned, they take a HUGE amount of time just to set them up.
-In Romeo and Juliet PQ, only use Poison Mists if you're in a map that you absolutely KNOW you're going to stay in there for a while. Otherwise, don't use them and use Fire Demon/Explosion/Paralyze. Examples : Don't use it in the second map where you're supposed to kill the Saities (Ghosts) and Mini Homunculi and move on to the next stage.
-When training in huge maps like ToT, use Poison Mists AFTER you've finished clearing out one platform before going to another. It's efficient. Nuff said.

4th job
-For Bossing with Mist Explosion, use 5 DoT-adding attacks such as ; Poison Breath, Poison Mist, Fire Demon, Meteor Shower, Bigbang (just tap the skill, no need to hold.) and Paralyze.
-If you can hit more or kill faster with Paralyze than Mist Eruption, disregard Mist Eruption.
If you're training in Party Play Zones where the enemies are large in numbers with a high amount of HP, use only 1-2 poison mists and then spam Paralyze. Once you've think you're going to use Mist Eruption, use Big-Bang /Meteor Shower/ Fire Demon and/or Poison Breath. Any number or combinations is truly your choice, not mine.
Whoa, this was awesome! Thanks!
