xbox e74 error sucks
Anyone know the rough cost it takes for microsoft to fix it?
I don't want to risk getting all up in my xbox and end up killing the whole thing.
Don't know what else to do, honestly. Suggestions?
No towels plz.

hey joanna, and I don't know if you're covered still I know i'm not.
lol no towels. Something most likely overheated or melted, so your most likely going to have to turn it in, even without the RRoD. When you get another xbox or get it back from microsoft, you should look for a cooling system that costs 10 dollars. Also i have no idea about the costs.
E74 is a hardware failure
Send it in. Warranty should be 3 years. I got E74 on mines and sent it in. Also, don't buy one of those coolers. They're useless. You just need to know how to take care of your 360 correctly. Mines has been working fine for nearly 3 years.
Hahaha yea my xbox has been working fine for MORE than 3 years (3 years and 5 months), so I don't think im covered anymore I think what caused it was an overheating problem that occurred a month or two ago that might have melted a few things.
I'm hoping its a broken trace x_x
Turned into a e10 error
might just crack it open and reflow the GPU and (H)ANA-chip if I find out I'm not under warranty.
Get a PS3.

Bah alright, thanks <3
Take it back, only fix, and if you're past your warranty, it will cost quite a lot.
I got this on my 2nd hand XBOX, they exchanged it for me.
