Problems with mages
I decided to edit the thread anyway, a bit too long for basilers attention span I think.
Basically:
1. Are there any lightning-weak LHC monsters? or in ToT?
2. This thread is about compiling a list of all the problems people think mages have, and hopefully getting it through to Nexon.
- Not enough monsters weak to ice\lightning.
- Mages are underpowered compared to other classes. Not just what you'd consider an OP class like a mechanic.
- Magic guard. Why should ANY other class just be hindered slightly if they get dispelled, but we have to IMMEDIATELY re-MG, or else we'll die. And sometimes we do, because we don't notice, or there is an attack that comes right after the dispel, or we just aren't quick enough.
- This is more of a suggestion than complaint, but, almost every class has something to bring to the party in terms of buffs. Mages are looked down on in parties for their lower damage, and there is nothing they can really give to anyone. Bishops have bless, HS, heal- and they have lower DPM than us.
- The potential line %Magic doesn't work, since it affected our "Magic" stat which was our attack. It doesn't exist anymore, so it does nothing as of the moment.
UPDATE: Someone told me that this was fixed. If anyone can confirm this it'd be great.
I'm sure I can come up with more, but that's enough for now. Go on, bring up your own issues.

Yea, I still 2-3 hit vikings so they're not as good nor as fun as lhc. But they're the only monsters that let me see over 50k damage so that's a plus
Yeah, we get decent exp there I suppose. But I find rextons and gigantic viks to be faster since I one hit them. I was just looking forward to finally training with friends and not alone all the time I suppose.
As far as LHC goes, i wouldn't know what it's like at higher levels but now I get like 50%/hr there with a party of people around my level (Not as good as some classes but decent anyways. And my range is low 3k-4k so my damage is bad but for me it's decent). The other problems such as MG I agree with completely, I haven't been on a major boss run but just fighting griffey for my job advancement I died like 7 times just because of him dispelling and me touching a nearby kenarus and dying immedietly. They need to make it passive so it can't be dispelled.
