I knew duped equips would easily get tracked, so instead I bought A nebs and unique scrolls and used them to make every single character on every account I have godly.
No bans, not even a hellban.

I now understand the severeness of my matter, I did not realize at first why my actions would be considered suspicious or bad but I do now, I'm sorry.

Giving out items which were obtained through illegit manners is basically the same as creating the items myself and selling the items for 1 mesos in stores.
I too am spreading the duped items just like the hackers/dupers are, I did not think about it this way until I thought about it through multiple aspects.

Nexon probably suspects me for spreading the items to help the dupers, which I actually didn't intend to do so but I can't blame Nexon for making the decision to ban me.

I filed a ticket with my story and am now waiting for a response which I will accept no matter what choice they make.

Once again, I'm very sorry to those that may have been hellbanned because of my actions.
I bow my head and am reflecting on my decisions.

Don't be too hard on yourself. The environment going around maplestory last night was intensely focused on these duped items. It wasn't just you, unfortunately Nexon let other people get away with it and only banned randomly(or so it appears). Some people on basil admit they used them, and had no bans. It's just another time when Nexon isn't doing a thorough job. I too used the items, but I did not use the actual dupe method. I did store what I had left on my boyfriends mule for him to use however, because everyone else was doing the same thing. I received an odd blue pop up message, saying my account is locked due to too many log in attempts with incorrect pass/pin, and that I was perm banned. Perhaps this means I'm under investigation, I don't know. Don't worry too much about it, if Nexon would have done their job and acted sooner, none of this would have happened. </3

You should have seen the people expressing their gratitude to me for giving them some items, I seriously felt happy for them afterwards.

But I'll explain my case in further detail since my explanations are rather lacking atm.

After I heard about the duping issues, I also started seeing a ton of people saying how we're getting a rollback.
I too got persuaded in believing we'll get a rollback meaning that anything we do will result in nothing. (doesn't mean that I purposely bought more items though)
So with the new and cheap accured items I started using them on random equipment for fun, but the fun died down and I was left with still a good amount of items.
I felt generous and started giving them out to people that either asked for them or looked like they could seriously need some money.
Innocent thoughts at first but the direct consequences were unseen at that moment for me.

I already acknowledged that what I did was wrong and learnt my lesson, but to permanent ban me over this is imho very harsh. ._.

You knowingly spread duped items to other players, and you knew, through knowing that the items were duped, that they could cause problems for the people picking them up.

So legits lose lvls and everything else is the same as it was before gg nexon for being gay

But your story doesn't sound plausible. I am pretty sure there were other items in there that was a sure fire to tell you that they were duped, like 100 no boom AEE being sold for 150 mill or 10 mill and other definitely other stuffs as well.

People never learn. This happens every time and leaves people crying over accounts they've had for years. STOP MESSING AROUND WITH DUPED ITEMS. Sure it may be tempting to get 15 stars on your gear but interesting enough to lose your entire account forever?

Thanks, I'll be trying to make my appeal to Nexon for uplifting this ban but I'm not getting my hopes up though.
'Accounts have been permanently banned if they were heavily associated with the accounts that used the hack and involved with further illicit use, storage, or distribution of the hacked items'
Guess I should have just kept the stuff instead of handing them out.

You Knew what could possibly happen if you decided to buy the items and pass them out to players: Hell ban or worse. Buying duped items can be tempting to some, but whats the point in buying them if you might get banned anyways? anyways it seems you already know the cause and effect of your actions, and you dont seem like a bad person....so i hope you dont get perm banned.

Honestly I admit my wrong doings but you have to admit that it's very tempting to buy those cheap items.
I didn't even do anything other then giving them those who could use them.
I guess being greedy/self-centered is the way to be from now on.

Also threw some advancement scrolls for fun on my equipment.
Nothing game breaking imo. ._.
