To show how good I/L's are in Chao Vellum

@cherrytigers: I do have a favour towards the I/L's longer teleport range. There are times where the longer teleport does give an advantage over the regular Explorer Mage's teleport(I find Hard Magnus to favour the bonus distance). I guess another reason(though more personal) is as a former Kanna main, I felt I can adapt to the longer teleport more easily since the change of distance were not as drastic.

I do notice the problem with the extra distance in certain scenarios like the one you mentioned. Unfortunately, I would then have to reset the Hyper Skills points in order to change the teleport range. The next patch would allow an On/Off feature to change the teleport distance which would alleviate the problem while maintaining the unique advantage of the I/L's bonus teleport.

Just a question, are you a fan of ice lightning mage's teleport? I am personally a fan of the un-changed teleport range.

The extended range teleport puts you in bad positions. 13:57 A mage without the teleport-range-increase would have normally teleported without any problem. Same in 16:14 and 16:18.

You may find a faster solo time with a shorter range teleport.
I'm watching your video and you keep having to make micro-adjustments to accommodate for your teleport range.

I haven't played the game in so long so forgive my comment here. The gamer inside of me is just hungry for bossing. Please don't take my comment offensively.

@smexiininja: Oz emblems are like dojo gloves, they last 1 week and give set stats that can't be recubed.

@sweetbanana: You helped so much! Thank you! :] My hope is to just use one item for pdr and the rest for boss damage/att%.Is your oz legendary and a higher tier than the adventurer emblem?

@smexiininja: Ignore defense is multiplicative, so for example if you add 30% Ignore Defense the potential will only add 30% of the missing Ignore defense(may have worded the last few wrong)

I do the following to see how much a particular source adds from my current Ignore Defense(first convert % to decimal):

[Current Ignore DEF] + ((1 - [Current Ignore DEF]) * [Added Ignore DEF]) = [New Ignore DEF]

0.84 + ((1 - 0.84) * 0.3) = 0.888

To get it as a %, simply times the decimal it by 100:

0.888 * 100 = 88.8%

For other sources of Ignore Defense, you can get it from Weapon, Secondary, and Emblem as a potential(I have an Oz Emblem that has 40% Ignore DEF, and a staff that has 30%). In your case, I believe 2 lines of either 30%, 35%, or 40% Ignore DEF potential should allow you to get to ~94%. Hope it helps

Subbed* How'd you get to that pdr? I'm going to start cubing my BM's gear and 94% is my goal. W/o pot I have nearly 81% but I can get it to about 84% if I max out my hyper stat. I just don't know where to get the last "10%" from or how much actual pdr it would take...

I'm using the reinforced gollux set(I have two sup gears), cra, lefrea codex, hyper stat, link mules, and character cards.

low range but still 94% pdr and a whopping 350% boss... along with high crit, i still see 25m+ lines where my xenon with double that range will do only do 10m lines... *cries

You will need a higher range soon

I like these minimum damage videos since it lets people know that it's not needed to have crazy high ranges to solo a lot of end game bosses. I wish more people made minimum range series.
