Can unique pot scroll be used on items that are not potted yet? sorry for being dumb

I don't get why the OP expects people to know when it hasn't even come out yet. Lol. And I think it's fairly simple to infer that it doesn't by just reading the description.
well i mean im looking at the event tab and it shows the description of the Unique potential scroll 50%, it says,
"Movement is possible only within the account"
*Gives Unique Potential to items that are ranked Epic or below. Use a Magnifying Glass to unveil the item's Hidden Potential once it has been added.
Success Rate: 50%
it doesnt say anything about it being destroyed upon failur but you know how nexon is, cant trust em

Wait until the next 2 weeks are done and u'll see what the scroll's description says.
has anyone have any experience with this specific scroll? like is it 100% sure that it doesnt destroy the item? cuz i really want to be cautious
