How long will reboot last?

I've been having a lot of fun playing in reboot, but I know that the population will die down slowly.

How long do you think reboot will remain popular?

@zander145: This. Honestly, I would love to start playing in Reboot, but the fact that I will have to create all my link mules/character card mules over again is just daunting. I don't have the time anymore, and I probably won't even have the patience to do it. I literally just finished making all my mules in Windia. I finished my last mule around a week ago and I'm not willing to spend a crapton of time to re-do my progress on a different server. As long as Windia is still decently populated, I'm gonna stay in Windia.

I think its possible for people to play both reboot and normal servers, just do dailies on both servers. Personally I love reboot, the population right now is giving that nostalgic feel, and ive already had to get in full parties to kill HT and RA faster. Which I really enjoyed. Im honestly excited to finish finals and play reboot as much as possible till the population dies, hopefully it doesnt. I think its pretty well balanced and not as hard as some people might think. I can see reboot going both ways in terms of living or dying. For now, its my favorite thing.

What reboot needs is some exclusive content and bosses and items that aren't in the regular servers. Which I think it does get? I'm not sure, but something like that would provide more incentive for it to stay populated. Also, people love to show off so if reboot had some kind way to show off besides item smega's that might keep it alive as well.

It's here to stay. It'll probably settle in as the 3rd most popular server.

I think it'll last much longer than a new world or a new class

Pretty much exactly what @zander145 said, down to the 5 years and I don't have the time anymore like I did when I was 15 thing.

When all the kids go back to their mains I may give reboot another shot, just too overpopulated for my liking. I may not go back at all, been playing in Bera for ~5 years to get where I am now, starting all over again is pretty harsh. Just dont have the time anymore like I did when I was 15.

@duzz: I agree. Even if the population dies, I'll still have fun. Only diffeence is that I won't have to share a map designed for 1-2 people with 9 people.

After winter break people will have more of a reason to stop playing because they get busy with school again. I'll stop playing if my guild goes too inactive, or my brother and his friends stop playing (which they probably will after winter break cause they're at Stanford lol).

@wall what's your IGN? You in Reboot or Legends?
Also, I saw a lot of threads on here and Reddit and MS forums about people returning after years of not playing, and lots of people in-game saying that was their situation too. Maybe those people will stick around a bit longer.

I really have no reason to go back to the regular servers, seeing as how I'm relatively pretty good in Reboot, and my Reboot character is better than any of my characters in Windia (the only server I play) other than my main.

@xxmcheifxx: But that's my favorite part of reboot. Oh well, to each their own I guess.

A month or two. When people realize there's no one to give them free things on a silver platter and actually have to work, they'll get bored.
