A quotworkaroundquot for the Gold card bug Not sure how many of you are aware of this but I'll share my findings anyway. Should you end up being bugged by the gold card, as to you can't do anything, opening the [U] maple guide window and teleporting yourself to another map still works and will pull you out of the bug so you won't have to re-log and lose any buffs/wait for cooldowns. Not sure about the bear revive thingy as I generally don't die a lot, but I know in boss parties you can just leave your party and it will resolve itself and you can go back in without losing buffs.
Back to Beast Tamer Had a 1 - 1.5 months hiatus from any game in general. Noticed the new BT 5th job skill and got back once my schedule permitted me. And I love it! I was stuck at level 209 for quite some time and bumped up to 211 the past few days. Really easy to train with it.
Dream Defender Question So yea I was wondering how you guys do dream defender as I am really having a hard time with it.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate Cub Cavalry? Seriously, it's a gamechanger. Not only does it complement our cute demeanor, but it deals a LOT of damage. A definite improvement over our last 5th job skill which I've unbounded long ago.

Beast Tamer Chaos Vellum Solo Bear Stance Usually BTs rely on Leopard stance, but this person did it with Bear at a pretty reasonable time. Note that this is with the previous damage cap, so the fact that it can be accomplished with that little HPS is pretty amazing.
First bossing accomplishment ;t=107s chaos horntail not the most difficult one, but probably one with the most hp that i faced so far. #contributing to the almost non-existing beast tamer youtube community

Furious Strikes boost I can't confirm just yet, been testing this out. But by boosting Paw Strike(?) it seems that Furious Strike is also boosted. So far they are only boosted by 14% on my character, but it looks like Furious Strikes final damage increased as well along with Paw strike. Remember Furious Strikes is a follow up attack from Paw, so it is not a stand alone attack. Wondering if anyone's been upgrading their 5th job skills to give an input on this, I will try get them upto 30% by next week without improving any of my gear to tell for sure. But by testing on mushrooms and other mobs it seems that Furious Strikes final damage have gone up. Its a 50/50 now if my hunch is right or wrong, need more time to confirm

A little tip to fellow Beast Tamers Disassemble all nodes you do not need, and spend all of your shards (pieces) on Decent Speed Infusion. This helps a whole lot getting the Furious Strikes started as the swipes skills gets over with a lot faster and pounding that hammer 10 times in 3 seconds sure helps a lot. It also stacks with other buffs, if you have anything that increases attack speed.
Putting Beast Tamer on hold I was super excited about Beast Tamer a week or so back, and while I still am, I've decided to put it on hiatus. It has nothing to do with its immobility, if anything I find that a challenge. I do it for one reason; funding. I do have a bit to fund with, but Fort's hammer attack has a 1xx% something attack, which is extremely poor as a final skill, in any job. That is part of the reason; I can still train (got it to 207). My current issue is the lack of enthusiasm for Beast Tamer and thereas lack of clean or decent weapons, refraining me from successfully finishing my Arcane River quests in a reasonable amount of time. I still haven't finished the pre-quest in like a week. However, Beast Tamers are still awesome
