Some confusions about bishop's skill Hi Guys! I need some clarification with the bishop skill here:) According to the descriptions, bishop's Angel Ray skill could reduce enemies' defense by maximum 40%. I am wondering, if such could work on all enemies including bosses like Lucid or Will who got a 300% defense? And if so, how should I calculate this, should I go with 300% - 40%, or 300% * (1 - 40%) (which seems unlikely to me)? Also, can this defense reduction be counted as debuff? More specifically, could this effect triger some link skills from like explorer thieves or cadena? Many thanks in advance for your time!

Angel of Balance is a god but so are you I didn't even get to max it, and I already fell in love with this skill. currently level 18, it's dishing out 1290% damage 8 times, for a total of 10,320% Damage. That's like a Bahamut on steroids. . . . I am joking. It's like TEN BAHAMUTS ON STEROIDS. If you're not maining a bishop, and you really wanna get a sense of "how strong" this skill is, lemme give you the dry math, with the tl;dr at the bottom. Bahamut is a dragon that bishops get to summon (about the size of Evan's mir, plus minus a head of a mapler) [*] *Bahamut* For 260 seconds (no cooldown) One line of damage, 500% Damage on up to 3 enemies. In my case, Bahamut's a level 31 skill with 506% damage with core buffs, no potions, or external

Question about Bishop Attack Speed Hey fellow Bishops, I have a question about attack speed. I was wondering what's the max speed for a bishop? We have magic booster, and RI hyper. How much speed is that? and what's the max speed? I recently got Descent Speed infusion from the nodes and I tried to test out the difference when using DSI and not using it but I couldn't see any difference in the attack speed o_o (maybe i have an eye problem and a hearing problem but i can't tell the difference) Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks :D

Infinity tick rate So I've always been told infinity ticks 10 times over its entire duration, regardless of how long it lasts. With the new final damage tab in the stats window, I decided to check out exactly how often infinity ticks. Turns out infinity ticks every 6 seconds after all, NOT 10 times over its duration (every 4 secs with level 0 buff mastery). With my buff duration I was able to reach 140% final dmg without dCO and 154% with dCO. Keep in mind that if you want to verify this you need to start at 0% final dmg because final dmg scales multiplicatively. The old 8% dmg cap increase followed the 10 ticks / infinity trend, so idk why final damage does not. Then again this is Nexon, so spaghetti is to be expected. Another important th

Pray is Benediction Before making this thread, I didn't know the meaning of the word "Benediction". "The utterance or bestowing of a blessing, especially at the end of a religious service." Also, I would like to apologize in advance, I am writing on a tiny keyboard, and sometime I mistype... First, before everything else, I'd like to redirect everyone here, to my previous thread about "Pray": Nearly all of it is still relevant. Let's get a few things out of the way; According to KMS, initial V patch notes: Pray max Level 20: Consumes 1000 MP. For 50 seconds, create an area for party members that increases their final damage by 10%, heals 2% of their max HP and MP every few seconds, and removes status effects every few seconds. Final damage

Thoughts on Pray 2 EDIT (July 16): this just came in; Max level is 20. While using Pray, you cannot receive the effects of another Bishop's Pray. All of the following information is pretty much confirmed, besides the fact that THE DURATION IS IN FACT 50 SCEONDS, and not 80. Also, at the moment I am writing this, it is not confirmed if 5th job skills are affected by Buff Duration, or not. ----------------------------------------------------- Start with the "formalities". Prev. thread over HERE: It's content is addressing the previous version of Pray, as seen in the V trailer, and as described in the KMST tests. However, it is confirmed we get a DIFFERENT VERSION. I call it a different version because 2 or 3 small twists in the way it works M

5th job and buff duration With the new 5th job announced, buff duration suddenly seems like a very good IA (as opposed to say, attack speed). First off, the removal of the dmg cap means having a longer infinity is way more beneficial. 50% buff duration means an extra 20 seconds on infinity during which you would be dealing about 2.5x your usual dmg. We are also getting a new toggle which converts 8% mp per attack into 15% final dmg. 8% mp cost is ALOT, but remember that infinity makes it so skills have no mana cost. All the more reason to have a longer infinity. Lastly, i assume the new bossing pattern for bishops will be to simply cast pray for as long as they can, and then attack while it's on cooldown. Depending on the level, pray lasts
