Want the mediabar to be gone real bad? Check this

You can't wait for the mediabar to be replaced or removed? You are looking for a temporary fix? You got Firefox?

If you answered yes you are probably looking for this. I don't think it is against the rules as it doesn't interfere with ads, it only (positively) alters the user experience.

[*]Install Greasemonkey: [url=http://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/]download[/url]
This extension allows custom scripts to be installed which can change how Firefox renders webpages.

[*]Restart Firefox

[*]Install my custom script: [url=http://stud.hro.nl/0757318/Basilmarket_noMediaBar.user.js]download[/url]
If you don't trust it: open it with any text editor, it's one simple line of code which anyone can verify.

You probably need to restart again after this and you're done. Enjoy!

But remember that money from advertisements keep this site running. Leave advertisements on for websites you like and want to support.
