Yeah, I'd assume it almost definitely has a connection to Magnus, with the 1) Horns 2) Sword 3) Wings and 4) Tail

@n0sXPIE: Change what? Your idea? For one just make it a drop from the Boss and instead of the normal stationary boss make it like the Dragon Rider boss and move around. Make the boss room's layout change as the boss uses certain skills making it more difficult to attack him so ppl cant just stand and spam attacks. Then throw in 2 types of summons; one immune to weapon attacks the other magic attacks; thus making it so that it cant be solo'd (unless you're a phantom but it'd be detrimental to your time if you did try to solo.) while these summons are out the main boss goes into hibernation and heals X% amount of hp every 30 seconds. He will have Damage Reflect during said hibernation so you cant try to kill him while he's asleep. He'll seduce, 1/1, seal, stun, darkness, Potential lock, random weapon/magic cancel and Damage Reflect. (no pot cool down because at that point its just screwing you over) and fire DoT. If you succeed in killing him he'll drop 1-6 of his special weapons akin to Mu Lung Gloves (Really godly but only 2-3 slots depending on weapon and comes with Legendary Pot [not sure what pot would be the best for something like this] cannot have pot changed.) There's a weapon for every job. The weapon last for 2 weeks. He will also drop special use items that will extend the duration of the weapon by 1 week only 2 will drop but at a 100% rate. They're untradeable and only 1 can be picked up at a time.
People on basil complain on how maple bosses arent hard enough so give me some suggestions as to how this could be more difficult but still doable.

B. How in God's name am I elitist? I've never completed Ranked mode and i've never gotten the gloves. I dont want this because just like Dojo it ends up being just for the super-funded and anyone who doesnt put money in the game has NO chance to get it.

@Kanji: I was pointing out the sword's shape, which is the same. Color of the weapon can be because he's traitor of his own race, or like demonslayer's situation, he turned good.

Magnus's sword is blue; the Dragon Protector's is Red. Could be the same person; might not be. We'll have to wait and see.

Seems like he is the "evil" class, since I read some talk about good and evil factions in Maplestory. Maybe with the Heroe storyline complete they will now focus on making good and evil faction jobs, instead of focusing on hero jobs
