@phoenix23: well i like to have all my skills close to my hand's basic positions. i also have a good handful of mounts which take up some keys. my layout as far as skills go, is hp pots on insert, mp on home so i can keep an eye on em as my kino uses em, page up has mw since it has such a long duration, end with combo up, delete has snow charge in case i go from mobs with ice immunity to those without, booster on page down for wen i dont feel like wasting mp on weak stuff, J macro'd with se, snow charge, and booster, and D with might, fs, and pressure. everything grouped by duration more or less. but since i like to keep everything in its default setup, i really only have my number keys available which r a bit inconvenient in terms of placement. i'm really surprised by how much i'm overexplaining this...

@LostElevenRR: Oh okay, sorry for assuming.

I strongly recommend just holding down the hotkey instead of relying on timing, especially with all the mini-spikes that plague maple.

I will answer your question with another question: What's a hero without his fellow mount?

@phoenix23: of course i do. i just prefer to use it as it says. i don't like to remove the hotkeys that are originally placed. using the d-pad for combat step is just more convenient for me.
that's annoying and now obsolete. u can go much faster by just timing your double-taps of left or right. but Ryko is still the coolest mount imo and the cheapest to get to max if u dont count those with free mounts. and Aran's all about honor. so don't abandon Ryko >.<
I spent 80m on the 150 mount before they updated it, woo.

I don't care, it's just 80m.

Combat step jumping is the way to go if you don't care about how cool the mount looks.

Well then. I'll have to be sure to upgrade to the lvl 100 mount. I forgot the price though, but I'm sorta broke so doesn't matter I guess.

Well Combat Step actually allows you to end up maxing your speed out at 160% now, which is faster than the first 2 mounts I think, but they do look kinda nice. In the end it's all up to you. My Aran is currently faster on foot that he is on the wolf. I also have yet to get the lvl 100 wolf as well.

I love my mount, but I admit it's not as useful as it once was (with our recent mobility buffs).

If you want to look majestic and glorious, the price is 60m. Whether that's worth it is up to you.

The level 150 Mount is awesome and free. But you do need the level 50 and 100 (or was it 120) mounts for it.

If it wont actually effect your funds then yea, i bought the mount on my aran just cause wolfs are so sexy

If you have money to spare and just want the look of the mount, go ahead.

If not, not worth it.
