Updated once again, thanks guys! If people have any questions feel free to ask them.
@gekkegerrit: Black Heaven: Black Heaven Maze 5. More in-depth, it's in Edelstein's Scrapyard.
210 or 215+ Maze 5 (decent funding needed)
What is "decent" funding ? How much mesos and or equips are required ?
And (silly, i should know this)
What is Maze 5 ??
Thanks !
@tubring22: Yes
Knights District 3 or 4
Armory 1 or 2
Better with a kanna mule tbh
Thanks for the input everyone! Updated the OP
@traitor: What does "KD3/4 / Armory 1/2" Stand for? Are they maps at Future Hene? Thanks
does this apply to the nnormal mapple world?
@puppet It depends on the class, honestly. Some it takes about 8 minutes per level at the later 130s, some take 15 minutes. It depends how good of a mobber the class is. On 2x, you could get from 125-140 in an hour.
@axleary2010: how long does it take usually for you to level at moon bunnies?
Here's what I do on all Reboot characters:
10-15: Mixed Golems
15-20: Water Thiefs
20-30: Streetlights
(I feel that Streetlights are faster than Mixed Golems to 30.)
30-50: Emerald Clams in Gold Beach
50-60: Riena Strait quests and then grinding in the seal maps
60-80: Drakes
80-85: White Fangs
85-100: Sandrats/Scorpions
100-108: Blood Harps
108-125: Robos/Master Robos
125-140: Moon Bunnies
140-180: ToT Quests and training at Road to Oblivion 5
I've leveled a ton of link mules up this way and I don't really see a faster way to do it since the RnJ/DIPQ nerf.
thank you lord all mighty @tubring22
I've been doing rnj at level 131 and getting .01% exp per kill and have been trying to find a better alternative since then.
@tubring22: I need to add.
140-160(?): MP3
150-165(?):Starforce Skele
160+: SDH/FDH (still viable) / HoH / KD3/4 / Armory 1/2
190+: Warrior Grounds
190+: Scrapyard
210-215+: Maze 5 (Depending on funding)
@traitor: That is a quality guide!
____________
I am still looking 140-250 suggestions, too!
@arbitorian Hectors are the brown ones.
http://www.tinyurl.com/wb2ms [needs some tweaks that I haven't gotten to yet, but it still works]
@soundfix: Thanks! I'll add some of your suggestions in. I've gotten to about 160 on my NL and I'd suggest Moon Bunnies in KFT still.
@arbitorian: Thanks, I'll add those in!
@tubring22 White Fangs (I swear these were called Hectors at some point?) are still proving excellent, offering a level every 15 minutes or so. Also, Sand Rats appear to be another popular suggestion in this thread, so I think it's fair to say that it's still a decent leveling guide to at least level 100.
And thank you! It's a very different game from when I left, but it certainly still has its charm.
Currently 146 on Reboot. This is my general path for leveling-
1-10: Main story quest
10-22/24: Mixed Golems/Yellow Eyes
24-30: Yellow Eyes/Green Eyes
30-35: Ellin Forest Mobs. Mostly those pixie thingies on the first left hand side map.
35-50: Coconut slimes/Purple whatchamacallits. Oysters?
50-60: Rein Strait (I actually do the questline. It get's repetitive but this is about the fastest way I've found)
60-70/75: Drakes
75-85/90/92: Sandbunnies
85/90/92-100: That one map with the scorpions and sand moles(?)
95-100: I also use the Magatia Zenumist lab (kind of mediumish sized one with one of the bosses for a quest)
Personally I skipped the RnJ part cause it gets bland and preeeee boring
100-110: Those irritating lil yellow lumps of lard in Minar forest
110-120: Ludi Castle. Depending on my range and AoE, I will be anywhere in the Teddy bear to all the way on the far right of the castle maps (So like, panda, pink bears, and or trojans. Ukkk those ducks they annoying as shie.) Robo is optional.
Sometimes on my meso rich chars I'd get enough starforce to go starforce maps. Tbh Starforce is stupid.
120-130: Korean Folk Town. The bunnies on the left are god damn amazing. + the quests gives skill books. Alternatively fantasy theme world but honestly that place takes all the joy out of a theme park and makes my soul want to commmit spiritual suicide so. Ukkk that place.
130-140: I have no recollection of what I did here. I think I spent these levels adventuring. Oh but the Crimsom castle place (which I was late to visit) was quite good (specifically that one map with the bats which you can jump around and agro all of them before wrecking havoc.)
140-150: Currently I screw around between ToT, The Far East, and MP3 if Im feeling super grindy. Leveling isnt hella stronk but atleast it's chill.
I imagine for 150 onwards I'd probs be running around in future henehoe again but I havent gone there yet so Idk how well I'd fair, but that's my rough experience so far.
I used to quite enjoy PQs as they were socialish but now days they mostly just drain my soul. Of course there are also those solo PQs but I believe they were nerfed (as stated in this thread earlier?) and honestly why is it called a PQ when there's only one man running it that's bloody stupid. We should totes bring back shie like MCPQ, those were the dayz.
@arbitorian: Welcome back! That guide wont be too great after those levels. Recently the have nerfed Romeo & Juliet PQ (RnJ), Mp3, Monster park extreme (I think), DiPQ, and some others.
@tubring22: Ah whoops, sorry I missed the word Reboot in the title
I'm newly returning to Maplestory, but I've been following this guide (presented by MS Reboot):
https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/406h7t/2016_leveling_guidelevels_1150_our_fastest_way/
So far, I've leveled two characters using this method (up to a maximum of level 87), using only the training spots (no PQs or bosses) and training has been quick, profitable and painless. I also just found out about the burning mechanic, so neither of these characters have had that boost.
I made a character yesterday in reboot and he's currently 108. So far I've done,
1-18 Tutorial (I was a burning character)
18-30 Evil eyes(the green ones, cursed eyes?)
30-like 36, enemies in perion
36-60 Golden beach (I was burning, so quests took me to 60)
60-75 drakes
75-85 wolf fangs in el nath (GREAT map, highly recommended)
85-90 sahel 2
90-108 roids (I'm on 2x + 2x card so this isn't slow at 108)
About to go to robos
@ecarina: That's in a normal world right, not reboot?
I generally do:
10-30 - Evil Eyes
30-45 - Gold Beach
45-60 - Drakes
60-100 - Sahel 2
Not sure what to do after that at this point but my comp's been lagging too badly to reliably train anyway.
