Being a nurse pays off, and your studies are actually applicable when you have your clinical hours, etc. But yea, pharmacology is a pain. My suitemate last year always was studying 6 times a week, and I dunno how we went out every Friday and Saturday, and he still has a 4.0. He'd complain about how hard this and that was going to be and comes back with perfect grades. Do they inflate grades in nursing? I regret being a bio major. Wasted almost 3 years learning and forgetting!
Lol I really don't think they inflate grades in nursing, I do envy your friends though!. And yes I literally study every day, most programs have a pretty strict grade requirement of some sort. We have some bio majors who decided to get a second BS in nursing and that they think it's harder to get a good grade in the science-based nursing classes than in upper div bio, this is because bio classes are larger so there is always a handful of idiots that lower the curve for you :] I MISS THEM SO.

That's not to say bio isn't hard, I've taken upper div bio and it's plenty tough too. I think it's just that nursing classes tend to cram a lot of info into each course so as students we always feel behind haha.
hmmm... I'm not a nursing student, but i am majoring in Biology.
I keep hearing from my teachers that it is not good to be a nurse because there
are too many of them, and it is going to be hard to find a job after college.....
Oh hm, I'm in a 4 year nursing science BS program, the medical center affiliated with my uni hires 60% of the graduating classes from our program haha. I'm not sure if your teacher is talking about nurses with an associates degree?
