am i the only one annoyed by Sony and Microsoft?
They keep putting out new systems when i havent even had their lost recent one for long.
First they release the PS4 a couple years before originally planned, and now theres gonna be a ps4k?
Microsoft if doing the same thing, and im not a fan of this.
I havent even had my ps4 for 2 years, because i was waiting on the system and games to fall to a reasonable price, and now the next gen is being moved forward like the current gen was.
Or maybe thia only counts as a .5 generation upgrade.

IIRC The new PS4 and Xbox are caused by the new advancement in the GPUs. Basically, the GPUs got smaller, more powerful, and cheaper to produce; these companies are saving money by moving onto the newer/stronger/cheaper chips. Sony (not sure about MS) has announced increased performance to PS4 Neo games, since they don't want the old PS4s to bottle neck the games.
I think it's great. By the time I finish playing the remaining ps3 games I have plus ones I haven't bought yet, the new ps4 will be the same price as the current one is.
You aren't forced to buy said new versions, but it does make one who bought it within launch feel like crap.
The only reason why I would buy the new Xbone S is if my current xbone optical drive dies on me. If not, I would wait for the new Xbox Scorpion and turn the old one in to upgrade.
Even if one would omit consoles and move to PC, it's the same thing. The developers announce a new GPU or CPU that may perform better than current top even if it's only 5 to 10% better.
Revisions have been around for close to decades. Nintendo has done this since with their NES.
Granted it does feel like these revisions are coming around a bit early than they really should.
i bought my ps4 the first day it came out for 900$ usd
been with me for a while though and i wanna get a new for storage size so i see this as a chance
my XB1 boomed on when i kept playing for 48 hours straight so im waiting for it too
Yeah, it's some serious bs. I'll really only be mad though, if they stop production of ps4 games before it's time.
