Best Unfunded Archer Class?

Gf wants to play and I'm not giving her lots of money to watch her quit in 2 weeks again -u- she raised a 100 Mercedes but isnt liking it because its so squishy and she does no dmg :y I only really play thieves so I'm not too knowledgeable about the Archers aside from knowing WHs are op haha

I'm sure she'll love WAs. Everyone does They are pretty as hell and dish out really good damage. Might not be as OP as MMs but still really good. Mobility also is sweet.
From the opening post, it's hard to pick up what she does "no dmg" to. At level 100 I'm guessing you mean .. training wise.
In this current patch, WH still holds their position for raw %/s. Fairly easy set-up for training and bossing just requires you to spam jag skills.
The other 4 are roughly around the same in terms of bossing output, with WA and MM having a better(read: easier) time for training.
Mercedes is strongly dependent on using your combos for training and isn't the type of char you'd want to play if you expect to hold onto one button. (You'll find that.. Mercedes has a use for every single skill in their books except the 1st job attacking skill even at 4th job).
If you're going with limited funding, I strongly suggest MM and worst comes that gear can be transferred to WH at any point.
Marksman for sure we are not as squishy and we hit high numbers so she will like it, or maybe not because the crossbow will cover her face unless you get her a weapon cover.
