*Facepalm* Yeah, completely forgot about the nerf to the sword itself, and it shouldn't be that long before it happens (so Marvel Machine timing is perfect... Well played Nexon, well played). Taking that into consideration... Well, my logic still stands, but now Ryude's Swords sellers actually have a reason to want to sell it now rather than later (either you sell it cheap now or sell it equally cheap after the nerf - and money now is worth more than money later), so, yeah, I suppose the price WILL in fact drop steadly.

On a side note, they could've at least buffed Ryude's Sword drop rate as they nerfed its power (so more people who work hard for it feel rewarded even if the reward itself is smaller), but that's kind of off-topic.

Well I got multiple Ryude's In Tower of Oz before from hard work and doing it the legit way. Now look at this, people just throw money and can get a Ryude's without any work

@chaosh: Isn't ryudes getting a nerf in the future which would drop its price? Also it's better to sell now that later since the general rule of maple story is item value deflates over time.

It doesn't matter how many Ryude's Swords there are right now if all of the owners decide not to sell it for less than 30b (or whatever price it is worth). It's not that supply and demand doesn't work in Maplestory, it just works differently. The swords don't degrade with time, maplers don't have to feed their characters nor pay bills and people rich enough to gamble in Marvel Machine probably are well funded anyway (otherwise they should've saved their money for Miracle Time/Violet Cubes/Cube sales), so they can simply keep the sword in their inventories for as long as their wish.

So the price will be decided by how long each Ryude's Sword winner wants to wait to sell the thing. I doubt it will sell for 30b (it's worth investing in a prime'd Fafnir with that money instead of a CLEAN Ryude's), but I doubt the price will magically drop as quickly as people expect.

there is only a handful of funded kaiser, but there is lots of supply in Ryude (thanks to marvel).
So idk how it could be still 30bil+.

Back then it was rare so the price is sky rocket.
I bought off @duo01 for 15bil before it was introduce in marvel.
Also, someone else in windia sold another one for 15bil before marvel of course.
In the future patch it will get nerf'd as well so not every one going to get one.
Some clown in bera buy one for 400$+ *cough* so everyone expecting to sell their for 400$+ LOL

@duo01: please u scrub u cant tell what @wall to think, just because there is a higher supply doesn't mean the price will go down drastically if the demand will match up to the supply. There are tons of people that can afford ryudes, but never had the chance to buy one since they are so rare.
