Coming back to my mage Hello Basilmarket! I haven't really played maple in roughly two years, and I'm thinking about coming back to the game to check out new features and stuff. Can you guys fill me in on things that I should know as an explorer mage in the newer versions of maplestory? Like general changes to mechanics, gameplay, and other things. I figured I would post this in the mage section since I'd like advice targeted specifically towards magician characters. Something that I'm particularly curious about is if any changes to character damage systems have happened? Help with funding So, in the past few weeks I've been able to obtain three of the SweetH2O armor pieces. I have the shoes, hat, and gloves. Would it be worth it to try to get the cape and suit and then upgrade to the SW set (Which will probably take 2 months or more) or should I just sell what I've accumulated once SW increases in price (if it does?) and get some mesos out of it for alternate funding?
Meteor Proc rate Hey guys. Have any of you been experiencing lower than normal proc rates for the meteor final attack? It says it's supposed to be 60%, but mine only procs maybe one in five times that I use paralyze. Is it possible that the damage is dealt but we just don't always see the animation?
The Red cubes Has anyone tried the new RED cubes yet? Are they worth it? They're 25% off and they can get legendary, so I want to give them a try. I'd love it if someone who has used them could share their experiences.
All 4 One event Just a few questions on it: 1) Can you do it with characters in the same account? 2) Do you actually have to help the other character train, or do you just get the maple points if they reach 100 no matter what?
Mobbing Post-RED Okay, I've been delaying this question for some time now hoping somebody else would ask it, but RED is around the corner and that hasn't happened yet. Right now, our mobbing pattern and our 1v1 pattern is focused around using ME as much as possible. When RED comes, ME will have its cool down removed, so does that mean we continue to spam Mist Eruption even on multiple mobs once we have all our possible DoTs on them? Would we just continue to use the Flame Haze + ME combo despite Flame Haze being single target? This should make sense since we try to use ME as much as possible now, so the same should apply after RED. Any discussion is appreciated. Thanks guys.

New annoying pop-up adds I don't know if it's just me or something but every time I go to a new page on basil this stupid popup add comes up. EVERY TIME. It's really annoying. I can deal with the annoying Victoria secret adds and the add with the naked guy in it, but this is just annoying.
Guardian scrollunique pot Would the guardian scrolls and the unique pots from the attendance work together? I just really don't want to farm them and then have half of them fail on me. Any answers appreciated, thanks. :)
So, explorer mages, what do you consider a good range? I was just curious as to what everybody thinks a "good range" or a decent range is. This poll is only about explorer mages so if you are a BaM, or Evan or some other class with different range multipliers, please don't vote.
P/c on Perma Sunset Colored Straw Hat Hi, I just bought one for 35m and I would like to know an up to date price in Gazed. I googled this and I saw another thread but it was a few months old so I don't think it's very trustworthy.
Potential line dissapearing So, I used a heatwave potential thing from the unleashed coin shop on my secondary, and it worked. But when I checked, there was no third line of potential added. What the heck? One of the lines on my secondary is really long (15% PDR), so since that takes up two lines is it glitching because it thinks it already has three lines? It also has a nebulite on it. Help?
Some insight on the damage formula change Judging from this video: The damage formula seems to be changed for the bette,r. He has r.egular equips but his range seems r.eally high for what he has on. Yes, he has the thr.ee pets, but I doubt that is significant enough for him to have such a high range with that gear. This looks to me like at least a 1.1 or 1.2 weapon multiplier. This is all obse.rvation, so nothing is r.eally for ce.rtain. Small F/P note: Fervent drain shows up in range. Yes.
About innocence scrolls If I used an innocence scroll on my untradeable staff, would it become tradeable since it was originally tradeable? Thanks.
So a Gm comes into my shop Well, GilroyARC comes into my shop (actual GM I think, I even tried to type in GiIroyARC to make sure the guy wasn't pretending.) and he tells me to go claim 25,000 maple points by going to some website. This site looks suspicious (probably phishing website) just from the name, and I haven't went on it. I'm not going to put it up so you guys don't do so either. I'm just suspicious because I haven't seen this mentioned on the main page, or on basilmarket at all. So IDK if Mr. Gilroy got hacked or something, but you guys make sure to beware of possible scams like this. Note: Who knows, maybe it's not a scam, but I doubt it.
