Gazed Guild probs

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell us that the population is significantly less than what it has been in the past, and that certainly doesn't help with keeping multiple guilds active and great. There is a select handful of guilds that are notorious in GAZED, and that handful seems to be getting smaller as time passes. It's a pity that, in my opinion, one of the best features of MMORPG's is generally nonexistent unless you are very funded/have some pull with said notorious guilds. I always have a hard time being in a guild that is full, active, friendly and chatty. Eventually, like most guilds, everyone quits or leaves for another guild/whatever their reason is. With only a few guilds that survive this constant cycle, I believe there should be more guilds that have more to offer than a name under your character! I'm here to gather anybody interested in creating our own friendly (well, it's basil. we'll see.) community that can enjoy the game together as it was intended. I have created a guild that is waiting to be filled! I hope to maintain it and keep a nice group of Officers to help the guild as a whole! If anyone is interested, please post here or find me in game on either Awvvv or my main!
Why do you guys from "Gazed" always, ALWAYS Capitalize your server?

I guess you need all the pride you can get to be recognized since you guys are so empty
Random thing to notice or get antsy about but to answer your question it's an acronym for all the servers in the alliance. The other multi-world alliance does it as well but they're more inconsistent as they can't seem to find their identity and settle on a de facto acronym YMCK or CMYK or MYCoK.

You think you have it bad? Khaini is basically Mexican guilds, with a handful of active guilds.

TS, most if not all long-lasting guilds consist of members who know each other personally. You need to know their RL name, their hometown, their favorite food, their favorite games, and maybe a life story or two.
Pretty much this. I joined my guild late 2012 and I have been with them ever since on my Mechanic. Of course, I was initially shy from giving out some personal information, but after being with the SAME people for so long, I've grown accustomed to it. To be honest I'm surprised the same 15~20 people I met back then still play today. We do invite new members and help them out as much as we can though, so there's always that. The thing is that a lot of them end up never logging back on after a few months or so, which is why it's usually the same people online every day.

You're basically just contributing to the vicious cycle you've just outlined in your post. You can start a guild and invite 100 people that will always be online but sooner or later it'll dwindle down to just a few people on at any given time.

To be honest though I don't mind the dead guild situation because I've stuck with the same circle of friends for a few years and even thoug our guild is dead we've been together forever and we refuse to leave and join other guilds. Besides, who really needs a guild except to take advantage of guild skills, just use your buddylist.
