Mille with Final Cut vs Rapid Fire

Which one would output more damage over the long run? I know everyone says to steal RF when bossing, but when I experiment on Hard Gollux comparing one with the other, Mille with FC seems to be much more efficient. I can clear the head in about 5 mins while it takes me more around 7 with RF. Why do people suggest RF > FC?

rehaul the whole thing.

21% crit from inner ability, recirc it for %buff duration.
you should be able to get 100% critical easily without the use of inner ability.

next, final cut does not give total damage. It's a multipler on your final damage.

final cut works better in gollux's jaw but the real comparison you should do is arrow blaster turret + mille vs final cut + mille. Juggle a combination of those three if you are trying to go after a hell gollux solo but don't have enough damage.
Rapid fire at the gem wins since it hits the highest %damage though.

you're doing hard mode right now. It's not a true representation of phanatoms at gollux since hard mode's eyes and forehead gem die too quickly. In the future, you'll begin seeing more utility with arrow blaster turret.

@x1mmortality: I don't know, to be honest. I haven't dedicated enough time to fully process and comprehend the inner workings of this game. What I can do is give you my experiences, but maybe somebody else could explain why some part of Maplestory isn't acting the way we expect it to be?
Cross surge and aria buff.

Mille + fc has better dps. Rapid fire has better hps
Cool, thanks! I'll stick with Mille + FC then, unless I'm doing Magnus or something
No worries, FC doesn't show up in the damage range for dual blades either.
That's strange since it gives %Total Dmg, no?
I have 0 buff duration, but I could probably work towards Mech cards and such. Can't replace my IA since it gives +21% Crit.

I have about 900k range buffed (FC doesn't show up on range for some reason) with 400k clean

This is on 100% crit by the way.

It depends on your buff duration too. If you can keep fc up majority of the time, itd be better for you.
