Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is finally over -
I've never read the manga, so it was really good to see how they ended the anime. I think they probably could've went two to three more episodes.
But it ended as a masterpiece imo. Man, it gave me feels that my feels couldn't handle <--- wat?
That aside, if you've seen it already, what did you think of the last episode?

Finished watching this finally. One of the best I've seen so far!
finally, not I can marathon it without dying every week
I don't know what's the big deal about. It wasn't bad but come on, it's far from being a masterpiece. It was very predictable 6/10

OT: The anime was one of the best slice of lifes I've seen
You think she is waifu material?
Also, I thought this show was very good, but it seemed to lose traction after about two thirds of the way through. The show redeemed itself with the last episode, but I thought the last few episodes seemed a bit less emotional.

This was the very important part.

@Revenants I think it was partly because the title of the anime gave away the fact that she loved Kousei. Therefore, the whole entire time I was watching it I was just like "girl, stop talking about Watari in front of Kousei. You don't even love him. hmph!" & the fact that it bothers Kousei a lot when she does mention Watari (even though Watari gave Kousei permission to like Kaori) makes me feel like Kaori is a big freaking tease. Plus Kaori's character doesn't get fleshed out until the end, which makes me unable to care about her death. The final impression of Kaori is that she seemed to have lived her life for Kousei from birth to death (even though the larger picture is that she just wanted to be remembered by the one she admires), but it's still kind of sickening to me especially since she didn't even really know him in the first place.
I mean, Kaori is basically selfish af. She knowingly wedged herself in between Kousei and Tsubaki & lied to Watari and Tsubaki just because she was dying and wanted to leave a mark on a person that she technically barely even knew. Plus, now she's dead and Kousei didn't even get to cop a feel.
I won't recover from this one for a while.
...should I read the manga first or skip it and just watch the anime? I never read the manga after anime unless the manga goes beyond the anime
The manga is completed. The ending of the anime and the manga are the same. It's not even rushed since the manga is only like 44 chapters. I felt like the manga and anime were pretty on point. Almost identical. So since the manga is complete anyways and both the manga and anime follow the same storyline and have the same ending, I would just binge watch the anime since its completed as well now + there's better aesthetics + you can actually hear the music being played.
It wasn't sad. The manga wasn't sad either. It's probably because I hate Kaori as a character. ._.
Manga ended the same way, but damn, even after knowing what will come up in the last episode still didn't prepare me for the feels trip I took.

The way everything went in that episode was too much for me. I was glad that I hyped this show up, because
I loved every single episode all the way to the end.
rip kaori
@MateoCI I purposely stopped watching at episode 18 to marathon it.
Ot:Apparently on twitter the creators said if they got 10k likes there would be a miracle. They got 10k likes....
