yeah i was pointing out that familiar is better than a 2x drop card, and that a familiar doesn't work. so 2x drop card doesn't work either lol. but it SEEMS like familiar causes more items to be dropped in my runs. I've gotten 4 sw weapons and 1 overall with a familiar out and none with the 2x, 4x, and 8x drops. i'm just a superstitious person haha

i dont think even 2x drop works their just saying....(thinks its to soon tho to say if they work or not needs alot testing)

low drop rates really low drop rates i here as you go up in bosses drop rates get better

That depends, the armor is quite valuable price wise. Even most of the weapons are worth a decent amount for the small amount of effort you put in to get them (the exception being the Katara, which is FAR above the value of the effort needed to get it).
Then you have the people who actually use the items (they're not better than tyrant + fafnir for those who can afford it, but they're still the 2nd best set in the game =P)

The SW set is overall, really good; regardless of if you're using it or not.

Funny thing is that I did that a few days back with a 5 star enhance with no protection and it worked.

Why are people trying to farm for SW? They aren't that great and they are like 200mil in the fm.

@lazershock and he seems to have a much larger time limit than leviathan with the same amount of hp, so if you can get leviathan to 1/3 health, you won't have any trouble fighting red grosso polpo.

If you're strong enough to beat him within the time limit, Red Grosso Polpo seems to have a MUCH higher drop rate on the items; you can start encountering him once you get to Rein.

I got SweetH2O Wand above average (211 M,A.) on my second day of voyages with 2x Buff drop from Grosso.. It's about luck..

what voyages do you guys do?

Oh cry more you fool. You think you're the only one hunting every day for SW equips? I have friends who bought multiple drop cards from the Cash Shop to get 8X while my friend IRL got a SW Katara on 2x, it's luck. Stop lamenting and keep calm. You look like a nub who doesn't need it anyway.

It took me a week of voyages before I got any SW drops.

Bad luck, man. It'll come eventually, just keep going at it. Use a spider familiar while doing the voyages.
