Kog maw is more fun for me.
I only like Nocturne for his ult.

i saw in the tips that kog maw can solo baron and early levels
im leaning towards kog maw

Really depends on what you're looking for. Kog'maw is amazing late game if your team is willing to peel for you. Nocturne's ult can be very useful to catch people off guard and steal dragon/baron.
