@natty2: As far as I can remember, most if not all of the current events run until the 19th. And they usually put out the update preview about a week before the actual patch, so it's fairly safe to assume it'll be next week.

Did anybody catch the date of this update?

We should also be getting class balancing, transparent skills, Sengoku and beast tamer emblems, etc as well in this update.

That video really pissed me off, for personal reasons.

@xtagg: the fishing thing isn't really new. had it in the dragon island explorer event!

I hope the fishing isn't as boring as crafting. I hope for a fishing minigame like Mabinogi. While we're at it, can we just make maplestory a 2D mabinogi?

So we will now have a mining skill and a fishing skill. I'm still waiting for the cooking and the woodcutting skill to chop down the Maple Trees and then the added Firemaking skill to go with it. Gotta get them to lvl 99 so I can get the capes and be considered leet though.

[*] You will be able to discard items while you're engaged in combat, as well as access pets while hanging on ropes and ladders
[*] We'll be running an event that allows you to exchange outdated coins (from past coin-related events) for new coins from a new event
[*] Skill bugs affecting certain jobs will be fixed
