Question for you mods/basilers I've only been around basil for a year-ish so as far as i know there have been no mod changes, but i've heard there have been some over the years. Can you explain how that process went, as in the process of becoming one, why the old mod lost his role/gave it up. Quite curious thanks for moving it
have you ever seen someone use basil in public other than yourself, if you use it in public. If you did, what did you do? introduce yourself or just walk away? if you haven't, what would you do if you did see someone? introduce yourself or just walk away? on a side note, did anyone else notice that in your "likes" section, the likes on screens stack up but on forum posts they're separate. for example you can see can see multiple posts from the same thread under "forum post" but for screens multiple comments are stacked onto one line, in terms of total likes. I kind of like the screen method more than i do the individual posts, just find it weird that basil would have 2 different ways. Not like it's a big deal or anything
Alright lets try this again so a couple days ago i got suspended for this thread which is fine, i knowingly broke the rules and such. I'm surprised that's all i got given the whole failed "basil revolution" thing, thanks mods, i guess. Anyways, i actually want the stuff in that thread to be addressed so lets try this again. I'll even post in the right section this time. I sent a ticket regarding my character but mr. b hasn't gotten back to me, i just want to know why i can't add my character. have a nice day
Anyone else do this? when i'm bored, i explore people's "likes" section in hopes i find an interesting/funny thread to read.
Congrats mmorpg - the basiler - the new mod I knew the next mod was going to be you, given your love for the rules/the site. Guess basil finally got that more active mod some users were looking for, but to the others who hate the mods, i have a feeling you're about to become the most hated mod given all the suspensions you'll be unleashing. No offense to the other mods or anything, i know y'all have lives to live and that's far more important than suspending people on a maplestory fan site. That being said, congrats, enjoy the ban hammer but remember with great power comes great responsibility. to everyone else, have a nice day
Not that anyone cares or anything but i felt the need to address this. Q: Wow dude, do you have no life or something? Why do you basil so much? A: I'm a 2nd year university student who's majoring in accounting, i have all this free time because it's finals season. My 2nd last exam was on the 12th of December, my last one is on the 23rd of December. I'm fairly comfortable with the course so i don't feel the need to study 24/7. Also until yesterday, i didn't even play maple that much for the past couple months because i lost interest but i didn't lose interest in basil. I enjoy the forum format and the community to a degree. So instead of spending my time on maple like some of you do, i spend it on basil. Oh and not that any one remembers/car
your thoughts regarding this Support, Against, Indifferent? So i already quoted mr.b regarding this/submitted a suggestion ticket but i thought i would make this thread to see what your opinions are. So as most of you know, you can now see who liked your posts/screens/threads, etc and others as well. You can also see your most liked posts like before but this is privatized. I personally think it should be the other way around. You, and only you should be able to see who liked your stuff stuff, aka privatized where as your most liked comments should be public like before. Maybe i was the only one who did this because well ... i spend way too much time on this site, but when i was bored i'd explore other people's most liked comments in hopes
how much time do you spend on basil per day? on average, well it's obviously going to vary because of school/holidays/life so feel free to give multiple set of answers all the poll options are for the total time spent for the entire day, not in one sitting, in case that wasn't clear. my answer would obviously be too damn much
