Your Worst Exam

I seriously think that I just wrote my worst one last night. Thank the lord it was my last one before Christmas break.

Basically, it's second year biochem (worth 42.5%, so not HUGE), and the prof decided to make the last 25 questions a case study on this protein homodimer Gcn4 that literally none of us were prepared for. On top of that, my exam code had the explanation paragraph on the very last question, so on my first read through of the exam, I had literally no idea what the last 25 questions were about. Thank goodness it's a big course (1600 students), so there's definitely gonna be some sort of mark adjustment.

Anyways, that's my worst I think... Feel free to share any bad experiences you've had.

65% on my first organic chem midterm. This was shocking because I was one of those try hards who tried to get A's in everything.

It was an O.Chem exam. Had not studied or attended classes for the past 2 or 3 months and I basically just had two days to learn the material with some review thrown the week before. I had spent most of my time just writing page after page for my Anatomy class thinking it'd be cumulative (it wasn't) and it got so intense my finger actually had a deep indentation from how long I had been holding the pencil.

I literally slept for ~5 hours the week before taking it and I had 3 finals on the same day. I was up the rest of the time on heavy doses of Adderall and recovering from food poisoning that I had gotten at the start of the week (almost called 911 since it got so painful I actually thought I'd die) so I was frail, only running thanks to Adderall and I was on my last pill, decided to take it as I entered the lecture hall and I did okay for 20 minutes then I started second-guessing myself. The stimulant high I had going on turned sour and I got severe anxiety. Like, I literally could not think for a good hour. Suddenly, when they said "45 minutes remain" I realized how little time had actually passed (when you're on stimulants time seems to speed by so I thought for sure I still had 5 pages to go with 10 minutes left) and managed to calm myself down.

I have no idea how, but I ended up getting a C on my final and a C- in the class. All with two days preparation, anxiety attack and no sleep or food.

I took invertebrate biodiversity before so I was predisposed to gross stuff.

I'd have to say my most recent BC Calc exam . Our teacher wasn't watching the time and accidentally went like 20 mins over on our multiple choice part so we only had 20 mins to do 4 FRQs ._.

I got a very bad 92 on an algebra II test.

I bombed one of my college algebra exams, I think I got like 3% on it. I got half of a point on a fill in the blank answer, I didn't get a single multiple choice question right.

I suppose
I've never failed an exam but my grade 11 university math exam had a decent amount of blanks.
Man I hate math.
My grade 12 chem teacher liked to make tests way harder than any of her lessons so that exam was fun too.

I tanked my Mass and Energy Balances test. T_T
Also I thought my Physics test was difficult, but it couldn't have been worse than DiffEqs.
I went into my DiffEqs final with a 97 testing average (A+) and came out with an A-. T_T

I dropped accounting this past term for first year university because I got a 48% on the mid-term.
Other than that, I got: A in math, A- in computer programming/engineering, A- in business environment, and B in micro-economics.

In parasitology, on our final, we had to read a patient sheet and then write a case report with our diagnosis.
