Gears remastered? Yes. Excited enough to buy an xbox one, honestly...but gears 4? I don't know...the gameplay will most likely be solid, but since epic doesn't develop gears anymore, I feel like the coalition is gonna completely poop all over the plot of gears 4. If I had an xbox one though, I'd probably still buy it ._.
@XxTRiiKzZ: I own a PC so my only reason for buying up any other gaming system would be due to exclusives. I picked up a Wii U for Mario Kart and Smash. Picked up a PS4 because I got my hands on a collectors edition PS4 and didn't open it for like 4 months until BloodBorne came out. Now I'm just waiting for a big exclusive game to come to the Xbox One to give me a reason to pick one up. I think GoW will be my reason. That or if they come out with a cool collectors edition Xbox. I do think the One's interface is really nice though the way you can snap.
@Caeg: haha yeah, the lag was horrible, the new games are all dedicated servers so you don't have those issues anymore I did LOVE the GoW 2 maps though! those are still my favorite ones to this day.
@Caeg: Well, you can wall bounce in the remaster, but you can't cancel mid animation like you were able to in Gears 2 and 3 :o but it is much smoother now. Online wise, GoW 2 online was horrible haha the registration wasn't good at all, which is why it's the worst gears out of them all, So to answer your question, GoW 1 > GoW 2 online in every aspect

How would you compare online in GoW 1 to GoW 2? I just like my wallbouncing shot guns.

@XxTRiiKzZ: If it's like Gears 1, then I'm excited. I didn't play GoW 1 online but would much rather prefer it compared to GoW 3. I'll have to see more of GoW 4 for me to gain an actual opinion.

I just really hope they get rid of the sawed off...[/quote] Well, from what I've seen on the gears of war twitch, it's exactly like Gears 1, but they fixed some glitches, you don't get stuck on walls anymore, thank god xD They did keep weapon sliding though! Which, me personally am happy for. The only complaint that I have, from what I've seen, is that the sniper still one shot downs if you active I hope they take that out. As for Gears 4, I really hope they dont bring the retro or sawed off back lol the e3 demo looked good though.
I hope that sawed offs aren't in GoW Ultimate Edition.... Do they add new aspects to remastered versions? I want to be excited but after hearing so many bad things about the Master Chief Collection, I'm hesitant. I know they're made by different teams but meh. As for GoW 4, I'm excited for it. I just really hope they get rid of the sawed off...

@XxTRiiKzZ: GoW 2 definitely had a terrible online set up. Lag, long wait times for games, host advantages.... I still enjoyed the gameplay though.
