Does afk for hot time work?
I was curious if you could just be afk while in a town for hot time to work. I'm sure i'm not the only one whose afraid of not being able to log on for 1 min to get the box.
So does this mean I can afk and still get the box? Because I am not gonna be home around that time
I've afk'd on every hot time so far and I can't remember one that I didn't get
@musicbeats: You should. They had events like this in the past.

You just stay there and you get the hot time in your inventory if you have room.
We've had hot times where sitting through the period works. You'll get a pop-up notification to claim the box, and the notification stays until you accept the gift. Sit through it regardless because you never know what kind of hot time they're hosting.
@natty2: bummer, well i guess i'll just hope im able to click the button. It might be best to stay logged in and hope i get the time to swing by and click accept. Thanks for your info
@yiffyfurry: In my expirience, you get a notification.
Get the box. The notification dissapears after 1 minute if you don't take the box.
The box can be opened only 30 minute AFTER you collected the box, and IIRC it has a 24 hours expiary date.
No, you kinda have to be there to click on the Gift icon to recieve the gift.

I was reading that. it doesn't specifically say how you collect the box. i'm under the impression as long as your logged in it puts it in your inventory.as long as you have space but i could be wrong, it's been a long time since they did this kind of hot time
No, you kinda have to be there to click on the Gift icon to recieve the gift.
