@mp003 : alright, thank you very much, i'll try malwarebytes
@mp003: ohh, i see
how do i know if something shouldn't be running?
well, for instance, if google chrome was running, you would get chrome.exes popping up in your processes tab.. It's honestly hard to tell if you've been keylogged and the windows task manager is probably the first step to finding if you have been keylogged(generally, most of the time, keyloggers don't pop up in windows task manager because it's easy as pie to change what appears and what doesn't).
Just do what i told you. Download Malwarebytes, restart your computer in safe mode, run a full scan and see if anything pops up, but i wouldn't bet on it.
also,@sofy some people don't understand sarcasm.
@mp003: Lol i didnt said its the best anti virus
i said its the best one i tried , if you think its a virus just dont use it OK?

if i click the file location thing, if it says the date i clicked on the link, would that be a potential keylogger?
@mp003: lol? Norton is anti-virus not virus
i used it for a year and its the best anti-virus i ever used
I know it's an anti-virus(sarcasm?) just because you've used it for a year doesn't make it any better of an anti-virus. imo norton is worse than a virus. One that lets malware crap all your computer.
@sofy : oh dang, that sucks
i'm running norton right now but i'm not sure it'll be enough :'(
guys, i see all these windows mesh live files in my control panel -> programs area and they're all in different languages
is that what you all mean by 'foreign files'?
Norton is a virus itself >_<
Download Malwarebytes.
Run it in safe mode (press F8 when your booting up your computer.) and see if it detects anything.
btw,I meant press Alt+Ctrl+Delete. Click on Task manager then on processes tab and see if you have anything that shouldn't be running.
Safest option is a system restore if you are paranoid.
@Zephorax: im not sure there so many kinds of keyloggs
Are you talking about keylogging or phishing
what's the difference?
:o
Are you talking about keylogging or phishing
@Zephorax It just encrypt your key input into the computer which the keylogger tries to read but gets random symbols.
Keyscrambler basically locate the keylogging files. just run ur anti virus and make sure u see nothing foreign. and dont click on everything that basiler put.
Open your task manager, click on the processes tab. Look for .exes in your processes that are foreign, just to make sure you don't have a keylogger.
Run a program like Malwarebytes(run in safe mode).
if you do have a keylogger, there's no guarantee that malwarebytes would fix it, a system restore would do fine tho.
if you are suspected being keylogged, do not log into anything. Run some malware checker. Download keyscrambler and activate it while you scan your computer. If you do not wanna do or lazy to do this, just system restore.
thanks
what does keyscambler do? :o
