Worth to main Beast Tamer?

I initially just made one for the link skill but as I played it I got to level 215 Lol. Now I'm not interested in leveling but bossing. My range fully buffed is about 650k. Do I stick with this or is it better to switch to a different mage class that can give me more damage potential? Thanks

Get it to 210 just for fun, but don't expect to solo anything difficult

Beast Tamer main here. I main BT for a lot of reasons. I like the storyline, I like how our weapon is a sceptre, how all of my animal friends have their own personality, how I can excel at a lot, etc.
It's upsetting though how it is impossible for us to solo chaos vellum, hard magnus, chaos Pierre, and I think one more boss even if we cap. If you enjoy then by all means main.
I enjoyed training it, but yeah like I've said I want to boss now that's why I'm prepared to make a switch. Which other mage class has it easier?
Luminous or Blaze Wizard or Ice Lightning or Fire Poison or Kanna or Bishop or Evan.

You're going to have extreme difficulty soloing bosses that other classes seem to not have problems with. If you like the class for training then stay with it, personally if I was in your shoes I'd have quit at 210.

Dont play another class because it has more damage potential. If you've gotten that far on your beast tamer and you really enjoy it, stick with it. You wont have any fun if you play a class you dont even enjoy
