4th job skill points?

So I just jumped on maple for the first time in about a month, and yeah why can I suddenly max all my 4th job skills on my lvl 156 WA? Is this a glitch or is nexon just found a new level of dumbness? Please help my confusion as I'm postive there is no way we have 5th job.

fradddd

I've known there'd be a fifth job ever since they had the first conference about RED...in Korea.
That must've been like over 2 years ago lol.

@ZombieZerps the game wasn't meant to be played as hard as it is. There is actually kinda a crap ton to do, especially with quests. My highest character is 158, and I've been playing since 2007! I haven't got any of my other ~24 characters past 140.
Lets put it this way, whats the point of playing a game if at the start of the game they send you straight to the end credits and you won. Its bad enough you pay for damage, now they take away the whole lvling aspect? Theres just no point to it, I should just leave it to the young kids that are taught these days in sports that just particapating means you won. Go on with your giving money to nexon to feel like you actually beat a game. Maple used to be a real now its just a pay for self gratification simulator.
Because you can get to the end game faster. If there was no endgame and you couldn't play after 140 then it would be stupid, but after 140 you unlock DIPQ and stronghold and LOTS of bosses that you now have a better chance of defeating instead of being mostly reliant on funding. Now its easier for un funded characters to have a chance at killing zakum or easy HT or soloing DIPQ. It helps.
So what you are saying is that you would rather have the damage spike later instead of earlier so you can see how much damage your new character could do before getting it to level 200. What if you want to find a character that you like the play style of? Now you know everything skill wise by level 140.

it was pointless before when u capped all ur skills around 180 now its even more pointless capping all ur skills at 140. I mean 140 is just the start of 4th job, whats the point of continuing to lvl. This is just moronic, its an insult to rpgs. What point does this serve? I should of just stayed away its bad enough they still havent fixed the memory usage. This skill update makes the only way of increasing your damage after 140 is by funding(aka nx for most people another way for nexon to line their pockets) if u cant see that than u should probably be working for nexon. (Thank god they dident destroy hypers yet... -knock on wood-)
@eeelyk: Now you lv in order to get that hyper skill. New players would quit because it was too hard to lv. Nexon acknowledge most players quit before they even reach lv120 actually people quit before they even reach 70. Thats why nexon lowered the lv for 4th and 3rd job. People quit without ever reaching pass lv140 Yes they will be people that will grind in order to unlock a skill but making easier to lv will keep players in the game. making that you get all your skills by lv140 will keep people intrested in the game because it will be easier to lv

You still would earn skill points (SP). Honestly even before this update at around level 180 I already had all the useful skills (AP) and I was just dumping AP points on my Hero anyways. Yay! 3 more points into monster magnet... so exciting... You also still have hyper skill points and the level 200 skill.

I like the change. It means not having to wait literality into your level 180-200 to see what you can really do. I do not know how new players think because I have played this game for years but I would not stop at like level 140. If anything I would quit at level 210 or something.

Dude, at 200 you're exactly as strong as you were before this update. You have all the same skills, now you just get stronger faster. Everyone else is perfectly happy with this, why are you whining?

If you want to quit because we can now max all our skills by 140, then by all means, go ahead.

@Mageklan: It's still better than the old system where you didn't get any hyperskills and your skills your missing key skills at lv140. A new player was trapped at lv 140 because they couldn't effientely lv at evo world or dipq that we take for granteed. They won't look foward to maxing other key skills at lv140 they know they will never reach it. now they have a shot at reaching the higher lvs were the game content is
after lv 140 nexon wants you to lv to unlock hyper skills which you get at lv 140. nexon trying to keep new players into the game. New players still had a hard time getting pass 140 now they will have all their skills so it be easier to lv
Hyper skills come like once in a lifetime, skill points were probably the only thing to look forward to while leveling. New players will quit at 140 once they realise the gamechanging hyper skills won't come for another 10-30 levels

It's a nice change that makes it easier to quit the game, since now people quit at 140 instead of their 190s.

Is there a point to this? I mean srsly nexon just wanted to take the whole lvling up aspect out and make it so only funding matters? I mean know we aint anywhere close to getting 5th job since it would hit kms half a year before us.. Is there an explanation for this or did nexon just leave everyone scratching there heads at how dumb nexon is again?

Its intended, everyone can max their 4th job skills by 140. Mastery book 20/30 has drop to 3/5mil ea i think too.
