Quit around Jump patch, what did I miss?

So as the title states, I've been gone since around the Jump! patch, can someone give me a quick summary of major things/updates that happened since?

Well, you could try Demon Slayer, Kaiser, Luminous, or even Dual Blade;
1. Demon Slayer is a warrior resistance class that is considered decently powerful event without funding.
2.Kaiser is a special type of character class that pretty much excels at solo.
3. Luminous is the final hero of Maple World; His type class is Magician.
4. Well, I see a lot of Dual Blades in my server so I guess they're pretty good and popular; Don't know exactly why, but I'm not a thief person.
P.S. I forgot that there are link skills for those new classes and plus Hyper Skills which improves certain skills in damage, range, mobs, and/or hits(There's also Monster Farm which came out recently, but honestly, I find it a bit boring)
Yeah I do remember mining and fusing.
Removed secondary stats? So I wouldn't need DEX to use my equips etc?
I'd like to start a new char, what would you recommend me? I think I have around 5bil raw mesos and some general equipment left.
iirc, professions came out in chaos patch which was right before jump
You've missed quite a lot, new classes came out, Pot-Tier has increased to Legendary, Bonus potential, secondary stat is removed and not really considered valid, I don't remember if professions came out since Jump, but there are a lot of new items on the market and Cash Shop.
